My art is dedicated to capturing genuine, raw human emotion through playful and experimental photography. With a background in photojournalism and 14+ years of experience photographing couples, she tells the story of both the wedding day and the couple in a unique combination of candids, details, and portraits.

I am constantly observing and interpreting body language, which is incredibly important when you're working not just with couples who want to look natural and feel comfortable in front of the camera -- but also for photographing deeply emotional moments and families with sensitive relationships (which come on, there's usually one in every family, right?). Another thing to consider -- Wedding days typically go fast -- if you're not constantly on the ready as a photographer to react, you'll miss priceless moments. I pride myself on being able to move on my feet and within any time constraints.

Heather is such an amazing photographer to work with! We did both our engagement and our wedding photos with her and both of them were such fun and unique experiences! Heather is the BEST if you're looking for something very personalized, unique and off-beat, and she really knows how to capture the unique spirit of your wedding. On the day, she knows how to manage your time and keep the day going smoothly. I also just want to mention she is the BEST at beautiful candid moments. So many photographers can be great at beautiful posed shots, but fall down when it comes to capturing those in-the-moment photos. Hers are well lit, beautifully framed and really speak to those special moments that really make your day memorable. 10/10!
