Why don't you charge by the hour?

Heartfelt moments can’t be forced—they require trust, care, and, most importantly, patience.

Question 5

How long will I have to wait to get my pictures back?

Accepted Answer

Your final images could take up to 4 weeks but my average turnaround time for weddings is closer to 1.5 weeks. It will vary depending on your final event selection.

Question 6

Why a thumb drive instead of prints?

Accepted Answer

I deliver your images on a thumb drive, which provides you with the freedom to print as you wish, when you wish, and at what quality suits your needs. I can also deliver your images digitally but will be in conjunction to a thumb drive and not solely digital. I do not currently offer print services, but I’m happy to recommend high-quality print labs such as Snapfish, Shutterfly, VistaPrint or extra-high quality print labs such as MPix. Printing costs vary between quality preference.

Is a second photographer needed/worth it?

YES! A second photographer is required for certain packages since I will be busy with the bride, the second photographer ensures that the groom’s day is captured too! Which makes a second photographer worth every cent.

Question 8

How much time should we plan for the wedding party/family portraits?

Accepted Answer

I recommend setting aside at least a minimum of an hour and a half total for party and family portraits unless you plan to have a photo booth set up during the reception. More time allows for a relaxed experience and allows time to go grab ‘Joe’ who ran off last minute but needs to be in the photo.

Do you pose individuals or are you strictly candid?

I do a mix of both! For the majority of your night, I will be capturing the candid essence of your perfect day. Then at times, with permission, I will pull aside to pose in a location that catches my eye. My goal is to create your wedding portfolio with a variety of authentic, romantic, and true personality.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

I embrace it! I promise I’ve tried to melt in rain and I seem to survive. However, if a location change happens last minute, I am flexible and can transition if necessary. Rainy weddings can be incredibly romantic but I understand if you do not wish for your perfect hair-do to be drenched as you’re saying ‘I Do.” Just keep me informed and I’ll follow along.

Will I be charged the full cost if I choose the Wedding Party/Family portraits but choose to only have our wedding party photographed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This package is the same cost regardless of how many groups of individuals I capture during the dedicated time-frame for portraits. Cost will only fluctuate if multiple locations are requested for this option of the wedding package or if there are special add-ons such as pets/animals.

Oh my goodness, YES! Pets are family too. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

How many images will we receive?

The number of images varies by session, but I focus on delivering quality over quantity. You can expect a well-curated gallery filled with your best moments. Again, the session time is un-rushed, so you can feel at ease knowing that I will work the day away until you feel comfortable that your portfolio is a success.

How much do you charge?

I promise my pricing is not a secret. I just don’t include the pricing on my website to prevent inaccuracies. Inaccuracies can happen if I am running specials or have discounted items for a period of time and want to be as accurate as possible. How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. When you are set on a photographer, it is advisable to snag them while they have an open schedule. Be sure to ask if there is any cancellation fees attributed if you decide you want to change your preference.

Will you edit all our pictures?

All final images will only be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal (acne, scratches, bruises, etc.) and teeth whitening by request or prior approval.

Question 17

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

I have video capabilities. However, I do not offer it as a service to be paid for. Rather, I occasionally turn on the video for moments which are too much for just one photo. I also provide a "ten years from now - talk with yourself" video upon request. (I'm actually getting ready to send my first 10 years from now video this year to the first bride who ever took me up on this offer!)
