Hey! I’m Felicia, a wedding and portrait photographer.I believe in using the power of perfectly-angled shots to tell stories. That look of love. The blink-and-its-gone moments captured forever.I love capturing memories to last a lifetime. Starting my photography journey in 2015, these moments are what transformed my passion into my dream business. And when I’m not capturing life’s best moments I’m packing my bags to explore the states. Nothing beats the sky views from an airplane. Whether you’re right here in Louisiana/California or in the far corners of the US (and beyond!), you can count on me to travel far and wide armed with a camera.

    I am telling you now, Run and don’t look back! I don’t like writing bad reviews but someone has to stop her. She should not be allowed to continue with her business. Long story short, my daughter got married on October 20, 2023. We did NOT receive the pictures till April of 2024. We were promised multiple times they were going to be ready. That’s when she finally responded to our text messages. It was just one lie after another! We were scared my daughter was not going to get her pictures of the most important day of her life. The only reason we finally got them was because I had to go to the justice of the peace. I had to spend another 160.00 to get the pictures. She had no choice but to get all the pictures done at this point. The quality was horrible! She rushed to get them to us and the video was about 3 minutes. We paid her over 4000.00 up front. We should have never agreed to pay in full. That’s a red flag to me!! Should be half down and half we you get your pictures. I know so many people she is doing this to. They are still trying to get in touch with her and still have not received their pictures. If you want professional pictures keep on looking. Good luck getting your pictures or video if you do hire her!! I hate to put all this here but it is the ugly true. I want to save others from the trouble and stress we went through.

    I want to start by saying that I do not believe in leaving negative reviews that will impact a business, especially a small business owner. However, I felt very compelled to leave this review in order to protect future brides/clients from having the same issues occur with this photographer. First, I am the MOB. We agreed to a contract in which it stated that it could take up to 14 weeks to receive finals. Therefore, we sat waiting. Soon after wedding, photographer reached out to my daughter and told her that she would receive sneaks in a few days and it would not take the full 14 weeks to complete edits. This was unsolicited. My daughter reached out to her multiple times and was ghosted with no to very delayed communication. Each response had an excuse and never any results. At the contract deadline of 14 weeks, I reached out to her explaining that I have patiently adhered to our contract and that it is very unprofessional behavior. I also addressed the fact that she is in a very delicate niche market where the event memories that she was hired to capture cannot be recreated. All of this was done via text and voicemails. I additionally informed her that she had a two week deadline to uphold the contract agreement or I would be pursuing further legal actions. A few days later, she reached out with yet more excuses but assured me she would get these images to us. (I am leaving out much more about having my daughter "meet her to get jump drive" and then her backing out multiple times) The images were finally uploaded nearly a week after. Here we are June 6, 2024 (wedding date 1/5/24) and I still do not have everything from her. We are still waiting on a video. I have sent multiple text to her and upon my last text, she is now stating she had surgery two days ago and will get her "assist to look into it." Forgive me, but due to the numerous excuses she has given to us, I do not believe her. NOTE: Again, I agreed to the contracts return time on receiving products. I am not upset about not receiving before deadline. However, I am very upset about her lack of professionalism, communication and ability to uphold to the contract. The fact that we are 5 months past the event date and I still do not have what was included in our contract is ridiculous and I want to make anyone aware who is using her of this issue. It was also brought to our attention that we are not the only people she has done/did this to.

    First let me stary by saying that every reference for this photographer was great. Close friends and family recommended her. She showed up on time for our engagement pictures and did what seemed to be a great job. We were told to expect some proofs in the next few days and that pictures would be uploaded in two weeks. It has now been more than two months with nothing but stonewalling. One excuse after the next. Several times told that the pictures would be uploaded that day but nothing. Zero legitimate explanation, will not answer texts consistently and when she does its just to say that she will check on it, will not pick up the phone or return calls. Do not use this photographer; she is extremely inconsiderate. I paid to travel for the photos, my fiancé paid for outfits, hair, makeup, nails, etc. We are still waiting on our engagement pictures. I am happy to revise this once the pictures have been received. Please feel free to share this to save others from experiencing the same.
