Hello, I'm Elsie. I'm a New York based photographer with a passion to capture people’s stories in the right light. Like any relationship, we have to vibe. I want us both to be comfortable and excited to work with each other because that’s what you deserve from a photographer. I love margaritas, my house plants, and my dog Arthur. I'm a phenomenal cook, and love bringing people together.

Before pursuing photography full time, I worked as an event planner so trust me, I'm ready to plan/assist/grab the flowers/hold the leash/do anything and everything. Acts of service are my love language, and I'll make sure we do whatever it takes to create something that lasts long after our time comes to a close.

Elsie was by far our favorite vendor to work with for our wedding! Not only is her work absolutely stunning, but she truly became a friend during the process of us working together. We started working with Elsie when my then-boyfriend had a photographer back out last minute to shoot our proposal -- he reached out to Elsie and she was immediately down to photograph the proposal last minute. We felt so comfortable with her during that shoot that we knew from that moment that we wanted her to be our wedding photographer. Elsie makes you feel so at ease during your engagement and wedding shoots. Neither my husband or myself are particularly photogenic people, but Elsie is great helping us find the right, natural poses AND she's fantastic at capturing organic moments with friends and family throughout the day to really give you that documentary style result. We LOVE her and would recommend her over and over again!

My husband and I worked with her last year for our engagement photos and it couldn't have been an easier process! We were able to book a date with her and she was flexible to change because our original date was going to be raining and our shoot was out door. We took moody bar photos and I loved every single shot! We also finished up in Prospect Park and those were equally amazing and romantic. We ended up using shots from each place in our save the dates and invitations! She made us feel comfortable to work with her. From that we were comfortable being in front of the camera. I look forward to working with her again!
