Weddings with Rae
I'm a reportage-style wedding photographer, documenting all the in-between moments that make up the authentic story of your wedding day. I believe that the photos should be about your wedding, not the other way around. My couples crave a natural, photojournalistic take that tell the real story of their day, not just pretty, perfect photos. Because your wedding day is not a photo shoot.
I don't stage perfection, I capture the perfectly imperfect: the ugly crying, the unexpected moments, your niece picking her nose and the moves on the dance floor that'll make grandma blush. Because let's be real – the photos are a beautiful byproduct, but the heart of it all is quality time between you, your partner and the people who love you. With my chameleon-like approach, I blend in and capture you and your people as their most real selves.

Full-day coverage is up to 14 hours of consecutive coverage. The entire day can be captured without rushing or stressing about time constraints. I get there the same time as you, and stay all night long. It’s the full story of the day in all its glory to relive over and over again.

This is my most commonly booked package. 10 hours is the most ideal amount of time to capture your day without having the squeeze the timeline. While I mainly focus on documenting the happenings of the day, if you also want flatlays and coverage of hair and makeup, this is the package you really need.

PURE JOY TO WORK WITH!!!
From the moment we booked Weddings with Rae, Rachel was a joy to work with. Her communication was always timely, articulate, and supportive, putting our minds at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Rachel and her partner were everywhere, capturing so many of the small moments and details that we didn't get to see ourselves. Her work was truly exemplary and innovative, capturing the essence of our special day in the most beautiful way. Rachel is an extremely talented photographer, and we feel she deserves double what we paid for the incredible value she provided! We are so grateful to have had Weddings with Rae be a part of our wedding celebration. I would hire her a million times over!! Also- So many of our guests raved about her as well! At one point she was ON THE FLOOR capturing the most fun dance shots! THANK YOU RACHEL FOR BEING ABSOLUTELY THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO!!
In LOVE with both my husband and Rachel
For most people it’s always a risk to hire a friend. But seeing Rachel’s work and passion behind making sure everything is documented every time she photographs a wedding made my decision SIMPLE. She was one of my first phone calls when I got engaged because I knew she hadn’t expanded her location to include California yet. She IMMEDIATELY started looking into what the price difference would be so she could get me accurate pricing for out of state. I love her work, I love her enthusiasm, her thoroughness, she will strong arm a grown man who’s trying to avoid the camera! I couldn’t have chosen anyone else to document my day, especially because I’m so uncomfortable in front of a camera in general, she was able to catch facial expressions I didn’t think I’d catch on camera to top everything off. I will always and forever recommend Rachel especially if you’re going for a simple day of love and no drama and laughter. Absolutely NO regrets.

I will never stop thanking you for trusting me. It's crazy how long we've known each other, and even though we live a thousand miles apart and haven't seen each other in years, knowing I was one of the very first people you called is a joy that cannot be put into words. I love you and miss you and will forever cherish spending the day with you and Ram and your little girl. Rachel is hands down the BEST wedding photographer there is!! Our dream was that when we look at our wedding pictures, we want to remember exactly how we felt in that moment; and she did exactly that! Rachel was such a pleasure to work with, she made everything so easy & fun, she communicated well and you can really tell she loves what she does. It was truly a blessing to have her as our photographer. Can’t recommend her enough!
