Hi I’m Eleni (but you can call me Lanie!) I’ve been interested in photography for about 10 years now and slowly building my skills. I started shooting engagements and couples sessions a few years ago and absolutely love capturing the energy and details in those moments! For me, people are my favorite subjects and I love helping people look and feel their best through pictures.

My style is always slightly customized to the circumstances. Rather than funnel all of my images through the same presets, I spend time after each shoot crafting a look that reflects the feeling and look of the day. I’d love to talk with you about the vibes you are looking for in your images! As a 2025 bride myself, I understand how important capturing your memories is. I’m right there with you in the planning and booking stages and want to help you have the best experience possible! While I primarily shoot digital, my fiancé is a huge film nerd! I’ve been brushing off my film skills and would love to talk about adding film to your session!

    Eleni did the photography at my proposal, and I am forever grateful she was there to document such a special, intimate moment between me and my now husband. Eleni is a talented photographer who is passionate about her art form. Beyond that, she is also a warm and genuine person who brings a very positive energy to the table. She connects with people easily and is able to establish a good rapport with everyone she works with. Eleni is exceptionally good at capturing candid moments. I was amazed at her ability to allow things to progress naturally without intervening while still somehow managing to get these incredible shots. I did not notice her at all while my husband was proposing, and was truly shocked when looking through the photos afterwards at what she was able to capture. We also decided to do a few posed shots at the end and she had some fun ideas about positioning that didn’t feel awkward or too contrived. She was also able to wrangle all of our friends for some group shots at the end without being pushy or demanding. I have seen so many other photographers at friends’ weddings and proposals who did not do a good job of stepping up when they needed to in order to get the desired shots in a timely manner. I have also seen photographers who are way too intense and overly commanding in their leadership, which really detracts from the experience of working with them. Eleni has neither issue—she truly has the rare ability to be laid back and flexible in her work but also confident and assertive when she needs to be. Eleni was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!!
