Owner

Crystal Sanderson is a South Louisiana native. She has been documenting weddings & families since 2004. While finishing up her art degree, she freelanced for The Houma Daily Courier and assisted award winning wedding photojournalist Cameron Gillie. In 2006, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art with a concentration in photography from Nicholls State University. In 2007, she officially launched Crystal Sanderson Photography. When Crystal is not photographing, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children & Goldendoodle. She loves traveling, antique stores, cooking and trying new restaurants.

Crystal has photographed over 350 weddings. Crystal has worked for Terrebonne and Lafourche Parishes on several art grants. Crystal has won numerous awards for her photography. Her work has also been published in several newspapers, magazines and books.

    I am absolutely in love with all the pictures Crystal captured! It’s going to be nearly impossible to choose for the album because every single one is perfect. I find myself staring at them every day—they bring back so many beautiful memories! The reception photos are especially fun; I love looking at everyone’s faces in the background. She truly captured the heart of our day. Couldn’t love them more!

    Crystal was an absolute dream to work with! She captured my wedding so beautifully, and took no time at all to get my album back to me! Not many photographers are as involved as she was and I appreciated it so much, she knew all the details of my wedding and photographed them so so well! In the middle of my reception, my dress would not stay attached to the bustle, but Crystal pulled me aside and rigged it up for me so that for the rest of the night I had no complications, if that doesn’t speak to her character I don’t know what does! 10/10, I would recommend her to anyone!!
