I'm a midwest wedding photographer specializing in wedding photojournalism. I believe a wedding day is a celebration, not a photoshoot. Come as you are and know you don't need to pose and perform for the camera. The real stuff is the good stuff.

With over a decade of experience there are no worries about less than ideal lighting situations or locations or weather. I've seen it all so take it easy, and enjoy your day without second thought as to how the photos will turn out.

    The photography for our wedding day was one of the most important parts of our wedding day and we are so happy Caitlin was our photographer! We had to cancel our original wedding due to covid, and since our families live far away, we ended up having a ceremony with just me and my husband, and our two witnesses (a friend and my mother in law). It was so important to us to have photos to capture the day so we could share with our families and friends who could not be there. They all absolutely loved them- she captured the beauty and detail of even our small simple ceremony. Leading up to the day, Caitlin was responsive, kind, and professional. She made sure to check in and ask us what was important for her to capture on the day of and double checked logistics for the day. On our wedding day she did such a good job! She is down to earth and comfortable- it makes a difference when you feel at ease! She helped us figure out how to pose and got some really nice photos, and she also took some candid shots which are some of our favorites! the photos came our beautiful. When we were looking for photographers, I was drawn to Caitlin's work- she uses light in such a beautiful way. We were not disappointed with our photos! We highly recommend cjefko photography!!

    We cannot say enough great things about having Caitlin as our wedding photographer! From our first meeting to engagement shoot and right up to the big day she was so easy to work with. She was always quick to respond to emails and questions. Even through all the COVID craziness, she was flexible with every change that came our way and was willing to adjust timing, schedule, location, etc. My husband and I were nervous in front of the camera at first, but she made us laugh, kept us talking, and encouraged us to be our natural selves. On the wedding day, she did not stop working for a second! She had talked and planned with us beforehand, so made sure to get all the specific photos she knew we wanted. We love how all our pictures turned out- she captured the emotions of our day perfectly!
