Brittany Fan Art and Photography

Hi! I'm Brittany, and I'm a photographer, painter, graphic designer in Charlottesville, Virginia. My passion in life is creating art that elevates story and human connection, and weddings are a unique crossroads in life where those two things unfold in powerful ways. Although I am primarily a photographer in the wedding industry, capturing the moments big and small, I also do floral design, invitation design, and keepsake paintings for couples, and therefore have a unique understanding of and appreciation for all that goes making a wedding special and keeping those memories preserved for many years to come.

As someone who has worn many hats in the industry, I have a unique vantage point for all the nuances that go into planning and executing the big day, as well as for documenting it all. In fact, I once did a wedding where I designed the invitations, arranged all the flowers the morning of the wedding, and then switched gears within 15 minutes and worked the next ten hours as the wedding photographer. And fun fact--I don't drink coffee, ever--but the sheer joy of weddings energizes me to work an event from start to end. I'm easy going, flexible, prepared for anything, and always all-in when I commit to being a part of a couples' big day.
