I'd say my photography style would be something along the lines of "lifestyle photography". [That means that posing you in silly ways that seem fake / awkward isn't really my jam.] I mean, unless that gets some snuggles & laughs. I'm ALLLL about that. I like to capture REAL life with REAL emotions and REAL smiles. Your session should be relaxed and fun. [All while I get some kick-ass photos!] I will most likely make a giant fool of myself at your session, so you'll feel like a professional. I sing, trip, laugh, make noises, mention inappropriate things, show my nerdiness. AKA YOU'RE GOING TO DO JUST FINE.

I'm beyond blessed to be able to do what I love. Which wouldn't be possible without the unfailing support of my DASHING husband Jordan, & SUPER spunky daughter Marvel. There are many other things that tickle my fancy other than photography. [But let's be honest, photography has my heart] To name a few top faves though: pizza, laughter, wildflowers, the office, playful animals, bonfires, water, uncontrollable smiles, dancing, taco night [maybe I should just say food in general ;)] and people that laugh at my ridiculous humour.

    We had our vow renewal photos and our vow renewal save the date photos captured by Alba Lumos Photography. From the moment we first spoke with April and Jordan, who are the owners of Alba Lumos Photography, we were impressed by their open, honest, and professional communication style. They made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. They were so lighthearted and allowed us to have fun and be our true selves. From our first phone call with them, we knew they were the ones we wanted to photograph our big day, as their style and personalities meshed so well with us. Their work was efficient on our day, photos were received back so quickly, and were breathtakingly beautiful. April and Jordan did the best job at capturing all the most sentimental moments of our special day. April and Jordan were the absolute best to work with - they made us feel like the only people in the world and got incredible photos that we will cherish forever. If you're not booking Alba Lumos for your wedding, what are you even doing?!

    April and Jordan were so amazing and helped us have such a fantastic day! They were able to wrangle our very large wedding party and get all our photos done quickly so we could enjoy our cocktail hour! They even helped bring out the cupcakes and cake so we could get all our important shots. I can’t recommend them highly enough ️

    If you are looking for photographers who not only deliver high quality pictures but also help to make your day fun and enjoyable, April and Jordan are the ones for you! I can not even describe how incredible my experience with Alba Lumos was. April was able to use her own vison while also hearing what we wanted and incorporating that as well. My now husband is SOO uncomfortable being in front of a camera, and she was able to make his feel comfortable and even enjoy having his photos taken! The sneak peak pictures (attached) from the wedding are INCREDIBLE!!!! I will be doing all future photos with Alba Lumos, and highly recommend them!

    We HIGHLY recommend April as your wedding photographer! Our 2021 wedding was "unconventional" (small intimate wedding ceremony, then a larger reception party a few days later), and April totally rolled with it and encouraged us. She captured so many amazing moments -like the rain clearing and rainbow forming which I did the first look with my dad, the smallest details while we read our vows, allllll the love we felt, and the joy we had celebrating! Her ability to capture moments was why she was perfect to work with! We have had friends and family alike book her services with our recommendation! Absolutely love and excited to work together again on family sessions.
