My name is Emily TenHulzen and I am a 24 year old native Idahoan. I have been doing hair professionally for 2+ years but my love of event/wedding styling began much earlier. As a teenager I was the friend who would do everyone's hair for prom, dance competitions, or family weddings. This love continued into my career as a hairstylist and is one of my biggest passions. I absolutely love to spend time in the mountains whether with friends & family or for weddings and if I'm not behind the chair I'm probably buried in a book!

I love to travel for weddings and down for just about any adventure. I always come to you on wedding day (to make your special day run smoother) and have options for second styles, photo touch ups, and more. I am willing to take on parties of up to 6 and have an associate I work with for parties bigger than this. We also work together if you are looking for a hair & makeup team to help your day run even more efficiently.

    Emily and Hannah do such beautiful work and are so so easy to work with! They both did exactly what I asked for hair and make up and it really lasted the whole day. I felt my most beautiful self on my wedding day! They were very responsive with communication, well planned for the day, and even finished ahead of schedule. I came from out of state so it was so easy for me to book a hair and make up team because they organized the schedule and worked amongst each other seamlessly. I would 100% recommend Hannah and Emily!

    We have worked with Emily a few times now, and are always blown away by the quality of her work! The most notable style she did was for our bride who was eloping. We hiked a total of 13 miles with 3000 feet of elevation gain in Stanley, Idaho for them to tie the knot on top of a mountain, and her hair was perfect for the whole day. We honestly could not believe it! We highly recommend Emily and her makeup partner for all of your future events!
