Hey gorge! My name is Jonna Jackson and I own Riot Beauty Bar right here in the DFW area. While I'm still a stay at home dog mom to special needs senior pups, I live for the excitement of handing my brides a mirror to see their final look. Ive been in business for 5 years and absolutely love what I do! I take pride in using REAL unfiltered straight from the camera roll, ensuring my brides with a look they love in real time and professional pictures. I always make my brides my first priority and provide excellent service throughout the entire experience. My booking process is simple and my inbox is always open for questions!

I strive to provide a seamless booking and stress-free trial and wedding day experience for all my brides. I meticulously combine my bride's ideas to a look they'll feel their best with. I specialize in doing natural brides, but as a former emo kid, I love alt brides and full glam as well! With my bride pricing starting at $200, I offer competitive rates for most of the area.     She was an hour and a half late to the scheduled practice with my wife, and instead of texting my wife to let her know she just completely ignored all texts and calls from not only my wife but the other ladies at the salon where they met. When she did finally show up she had zero remorse nor did she give an explanation. Despite this the trial turned out great, and communication before and after this was on point. However, on the day of the wedding let’s just say her work was not even close to what they did at the trial. She couldn’t even remember they had done a trial. We had an evening wedding with dark colors, and she pulled out an orange palate. Orange wasn’t even close to being a part of our colors. When she left, our wedding planners and my wife’s daughter wiped everything off her face, took down her hair, and redid it to what my wife actually wanted. My wife was absolutely stunning on our wedding day, but not because of Riot Beauty Bar.

    Hi Christine! Thank you for sharing your experience as I welcome all feedback. I strive to provide my brides with a seamless beauty experience and I'm sorry I failed you guys on that. That being said, I did check my life 360 and texts from the day of the trial, and I was late by 34 minutes, not an hour and a half. I had a vet emergency and accidentally left my phone at home rushing my pup to the vet before the trial. I did apologize numerous times once I arrived. On wedding day, the palette I used was Urban Decay Naked Heat, and while the packaging is orange, it is a brown, deep plum and burgundy color story. Your wife said she was happy with her h+mu when I finished her and I was never told otherwise. I'd have been more than happy to change it up if someone had spoke up but nothing was brought to my attention. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience and bad experience. In the meantime I'm happy to offer a h+mu appt to you guys at no cost if you need services again. Thank you!

    Jonna did an amazing job on my bridesmaids makeup! I had wanted to do my own but changed my mind last minute and I'm so happy I did. Everyone looked beautiful all evening and I cannot recommend them enough

    Riot Beauty Bar was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day hair and makeup. From my initial inquiry, Joann was incredibly fast, professional, and attentive in her communication. On the day of, the team did a beautiful job - she mixed several foundations to perfectly match my skin tone and were very gentle when applying my lashes, ensuring they weren't uncomfortable. Her quality of their work was truly excellent, and the value was exceptional compared to other vendors we considered. Riot Beauty Bar was definitely one of the best vendors we hired, and I highly recommend her for brides who don't want to break the bank on hair and makeup for their special day.

    We booked Riot over a year in advance from wedding day and had a wonderful experience from booking thru wedding day. Jonna is very communicative and answered all my questions and concerns quickly. I decided to do a second trial after developing hormonal acne and she was able to smooth my skin texture enough to look great in pictures and lasted incredible the entire day. My hair held up in the humidity as well. Pricing is very competitive with other high end vendors in the area and I'm so happy I ended up booking
