    We worked with Coalesce Creations for wedding coordination and decoration/design services. There were a lot of ups and downs in the experience, but I ultimately regret choosing to work with this team. The decoration on the day of the wedding was lovely.. We loved the flowers, the linens, and the dance floor! The team worked efficiently to set up and tear down, and there was nice attention to detail on the table centerpieces. The team was friendly and upbeat as well, creating a fun set-up atmosphere! Unfortunately, there were a few key elements that we discussed that were either missing or not as originally described. For example, we wanted to offer thank you cards to our guests that the decoration team promised to provide, but none were placed on the tables. I even offered to make them myself ahead of time, but was ensured they’d be provided. The seating chart was also completely different than we originally planned. This was disappointing because we had spent significant time going over these details and felt like our ideas weren't properly executed. We were told there were issues getting to the venue that caused delays, but I’d think customizable pieces like the seating chart would’ve been ready to go before the morning of the event. The biggest disappointment with Coalesce Creations is in the communication and customer service. The initial consultations were positive and we felt confident in their vision for our wedding décor. They outlined a clear timeline with planning and design deadlines and even offered a cohesive portal for communication and project management. It felt very organized and secure, but we were wrong. We really struggled to get timely responses to our questions and there was little transparency about how certain elements were being handled. We would ask for things like design vision boards and be completely ignored for weeks. We were told to plan for a design mock meeting six to eight weeks from the wedding but didn’t get to see mocks until three weeks out. During the coordination process, we also suffered communication issues. We had to repeatedly ask for our timeline (for our own use and for our bridal party) and our vendors received incorrect timelines. For example, our DJ had incorrect reception details because he didn’t receive an updated timeline (despite promises that he would). It significantly added to our frustration. When I voiced concerns to the team, I was told I was in the wrong because I misunderstood their planning process, or because they were busy with other things. Maybe both were the case, but I felt it was wildly unprofessional. Their management added unnecessary stress during the wedding planning process, which could have been avoided with better communication and organization. We were truly hoping for a better experience with Coalesce Creations, especially because they were our most expensive vendor and played very pivotal roles in the atmosphere we wanted for our big day. Unfortunately, the results didn't live up to what was promised. We hope they take this feedback to improve their services for future clients.

    Our wedding was in December of 2020. The year of the pandemic and a year of constant changes. To say planning a wedding during this time was overwhelming is an understatement and then I met Athena and her team. My wedding angels. Athen and her team took my covid wedding planning stress and turned my wedding planning experience into such a JOY! In such unsure times, Athena always made me feel like the most special bride in the world and that COVID was NOT gonna ruin our big day. Every stage of the planning process was so fun! Athena and her team are very hands-on and SO organized!! With immediate responses to my 1000 questions, keeping my spirits up, and making my big day everything I had dreamed of and more. I would recommend Athena and her team every time!
