Weedweavers

I grew up playing in the woods, collecting natural materials and gardening with my father from the time I could walk. I was always a gardener first. Everywhere I lived I've left a perennial garden behind. In college, I was taking a walk in the fall to unwind from exams collecting pods, dried flowers and grass as I went. Upon return I wove a wreath from my collection. A friend stopped by admired what I had done, she asked what was in it, I told her- oh, just a bunch of weeds. At which she said you little weedweaver you! It stuck and years later it only seemed fitting to use it as my own.

Awhile later, my first college roommate was getting married, I asked what I could do to help. Her response was, everything was taken care of except the flowers. Ok, I told her I'd figure it out and all these years and I'm still figuring it out and loving what I do! Celebrating and Inspired by the the best designer of all - Mother Nature. Weedweavers is all about making the ordinary, extraordinary!
