The Velvet Poppy provides couples getting married in the Asheville & Hendersonville, NC area with fresh and gorgeous floral designs and details to make your wedding day swoon worthy. Designed with so much love, so much gratitude, and of course, good vibes. To compliment your yummy floral designs, we love to incorporate plant-dyed silk or velvet ribbon, vintage brass and glass pieces, and of course, candle light (cue the romantic vibes).

Our timeless and vintage inspired floral designs are lovingly crafted by an expert dedicated to making your day as dreamy as you have imagined it to be. When possible (typically April-October), we enjoy sourcing a bulk of our in-season florals from local North & South Carolina flower farmers which not only ensures the freshest and most beautiful blooms grown by people we love and trust, but it is also important to us to maintain a low impact on the Mother (Nature, that is) when we can. Also, who doesn't love supporting local small farmers? We celebrate all kinds of love here and would love to flower for you on your very special day.
