Peppercorn Events is a full service catering and events company that focuses on local, seasonal ingredients and custom menus. We help craft events from intimate backyard weddings, large weddings nestled amongst Christmas trees and every wedding in between. We can assist our couples with more than just food and staff. We work with an amazing group of vendors and can bring your vision to life with rentals, décor, music and full wedding coordination.

R + J work in the wedding industry, and took some of their favorite elements from weddings they have seen, making a beautiful, thoughtful and unique wedding, from ceremony through after party. Their cocktail hour consisted of passed canapes, a large grazing table with charcuterie + cheeses and a gorgeous raw bar. Their guests started their dinner with a plated 1st course, followed by family style entrees and sides. They ended the night with dessert small bites such as brown butter chocolate chip cookies and honey mascarpone parfaits. The perfect end to the night was a bonfire, with a warm pretzel display.

Jess and Dan are by far the easiest people to work with. Their food is amazing and they never disappoint. They are my go to company anytime I need something catered. I highly recommend Peppercorn to anyone who wants to have a world class experience. Absolutely amazing is the best way to describe them.

Husband and I planned our last minute backyard wedding in 2 months and even from the beginning Jess was so wonderful to work with. She was always responsive, always answered our questions with knowledge and it made us at lease knowing that everything will be under control even with the current situation and restrictions. Tasting was such a wonderful experience. It was one of the best moments in wedding planning. For that moment we were really able to just relax and enjoy the incredible dishes Jess created for us. We had a really hard time narrowing down our choices for the menu. And on our wedding day, Jess and her team were so helpful and professional, they served a wonderfully curated meal to our guests, which our guests raved about. Food was one of the most important part of our wedding and they went above and beyond, gave us the best catering experience that made our wedding even more unique and memorable. I’ve already recommended Peppercorn events to all of my friends and clients and I will continue to do so.

Peppercorn Events catered our wedding and did an absolutely incredible job! The presentation was gorgeous and everything was fresh and delicious! Almost all of our guests made a point to complement the food. Jess is super pleasant to work with and made the entire process seamless. She came up with creative ideas that tailored our needs and thought of every little detail. We're so happy to have worked with Peppercorn for our wedding and can't recommend them enough!

Jess is absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. She is the ultimate professional, and could not be more responsive. Every detail was accounted for, and took so much stress off of me knowing Jess had it covered. The food is absolutely delicious and I am still craving more of it today. Hire Jess and her team ASAP - do it, you won't regret it! Thanks for a fabulous event.

There is no minimum guest count to book. Typically our weddings start at $150 per person, for food, staff, and tableware rentals (china, glassware, flatware).

Yes! We offer personalized tastings after we have put together a proposal that meets your vision of the day, and your budget. We offer tastings for you and a guest for a small fee. If you sign a contract with us beforehand, we waive this fee.

Typically we meet once at the tasting, and again at a venue walkthrough. If we are coordinating your wedding as well, there may be more meetings. We can also schedule phone calls to finalize details as we get closer to you wedding.

The sooner the better! Since we only take on a limited number of events per weekend, we can be fully booked on a weekend 6-12 months out. Feel free to ask about our availability. Our events team is happy to go over our available dates.

We do charge a small travel fee for events that are farther than 50 miles from our kitchen.

Yes! We are a full service catering company and can assist with all of your rental needs.

Absolutely! Our team will work with you to create a full menu based on you and your guests allergies and aversions, or individual plates for those with restrictions.

While most of our events are in northern New Jersey and the Hudson Valley, we are happy to travel!
