Do you offer cake tastings?

Yes! We offer Cake Tasting Boxes for pick up on specific dates throughout the year. The take-home boxes include 6 of our favorite flavor combinations. They can be purchased on our website! While we don't currently offer tastings for additional dessert items at this time, we promise they're just as delicious as your cake. You can order some of our signature treats on our website.

How do I book my wedding with you?

If you haven't already, you can submit your wedding inquiry on our website. As a baker and designer, I’m very interested in working closely with my clients to create the desserts of their dreams. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due in order for us to secure your event date.

How much does a wedding cake cost?

Generally speaking... * 1 Tiered Cakes start at: $95 (feeds approx. 14-42) * 2 Tiered Cakes start at : $210 (feeds approx. 32-42) * 3-4 Tiered Cakes Start at: $355 (feeds over 46) Pricing for custom cakes is set at a baseline. The price of your cake is determined based on size and design intricacy. Pricing generally starts at $6 per serving and increase based on design and complexity. All cakes are made 100% from scratch. It’s important to me that your cake tastes as great as it looks!

How do your cake servings work?

In general, our standard dessert servings are comprised of 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of filling. Cake slices are approximately 1”x2”x5”, though they can slightly vary. If you're looking for just a little bite to offer your guests, each dessert serving can be cut in half to offer a coffee serving bite. Your cake will certainly go further in numbers! Please note, we do not offer cake cutting service.

How do your cake design options work?

We would love to see your design inspiration! Whether a dress, an invitation, color scheme, or some other design element from your wedding plan, we are inspired by it all! However, we do have a particular clean and modern aesthetic we approach our work with. Since we do not copy other work, we don't often find other artists cake photos helpful in the process. Is there something in our portfolio on our website you're drawn to? Please let us know!

Can you decorate my cake with fresh flowers?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We LOVE working with fresh flowers. We're happy to work directly with your florist to decorate your cake using flowers that match the rest of your event. Your florist is not permitted to decorate any of our work themselves. If you're not already working with a florist, we can source flowers for your cake at an additional cost. We will try to follow your particular color scheme but specific requests are based on availability with the local florist we work with.

Do you work with fondant?

No, we do not work with fondant at this time. Our cakes are made using Swiss Meringue Buttercream and sometimes chocolate ganache.

Do you offer more than just cake?

Accepted Answer

You bet! We LOVE working with clients to create the dessert table of their dreams. From bars, cookies, macarons and much more, we offer a variety of treats to please your aesthetic and hungry guests! Dessert offerings also begin at approx. $6 per serving.

Do you offer delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes, delivery can be arranged in advance and is subject to availability. Delivery pricing starts at $75, is based on distance from the kitchen and requires a $600 minimum order prior to the delivery fee. Delivery will occur before 4p on the day of your wedding.Delivery does not include set up. Set up can be coordinated for an additional fee and is subject to availability. It is recommended that desserts that include cream cheese should not be set out prior to 3 hours before consuming.If you pick up your cake and/or desserts from the kitchen, we are not responsible for any damage once it has left the premises.

How do I transport my cake?

For pick up orders, we recommend that cakes be transported on a flat surface in your vehicle (the floor or boot space) with the air conditioning on .Cake should be stored in the fridge, especially prior to any transport and brought to room temperature (1-2 hours) prior to serving. It is recommended that desserts containing cream cheese should not be set out prior to 3 hours before consuming.

Do I need a cake stand?

Accepted Answer

All of our cakes are created on a round cake board and can be placed directly on your dessert table without a cake stand. If you prefer the look of a cake stand, you must provide the stand. We recommend purchasing a stand that is at least 2" larger than the bottom tier of your cake and is completely flat (no curve or ribbed edge). Your stand must be sturdy enough to support the weight of your cake. We do not offer cake or dessert stands/trays for rent. The client is responsible for any signage for their dessert table.

What happens if I need to change my order?

Accepted Answer

Any changes must be submitted one month (30 days) in advance of event date. There will be no changes allowed 29 days prior to the event. If a cancellation occurs 30 days prior to the date of the event, the Client will be charged the full amount of the order. DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We offer gluten free cake, cupcakes and shooters upon request. Our rice krispies and macarons are naturally GF. All of our goodies are made in the same kitchen where nuts, gluten and dairy are present.
