Welcome. I opened Cakewalk Desserts in 2010, as a side project after working in interior Design for several years. It turned out to be my passion! I love being in an industry that celebrates love, creativity and DESSERTS. I’ve worked with such brands as: FitBit, Ted Baker, Disney, American Idol, The View, and have been featured in Real Simple, Town & Country, and San Diego Living. I even have a cookbook published with Page Street Publishing. I’ve shipped my pies all over this country, but am now focusing solely on providing my services throughout Southern California.

A lot of people know about cake pops (which I can also do), but few have yet to hear about pie pops! My shop specializes in mini pies from pie pops, hand pies, pie cups to tin pies. I also do full size pies for a “cake cutting” with a twist. I can customize crust designs, flavors, ribbon colors and work with your planner or florist to create a totally unique display for your special day. I hand deliver for free within Orange County, but can also travel throughout Southern California.

This is a great option if you’d like to use my desserts exclusively for your reception. It includes 100 pie pops, 48 pie cups, 48 tin pies as well as a full sized pie in a clear glass dish for the “cutting.” *can provide floral foam and filler if needed.

My Pie Pops are 3-1/4” in diameter or 3-4 bites each. My Hand Pies are 4” in diameter or 1/2 a serving. My Pie Cups are the size of a standard cupcake, and are 3/4 serving. My Tin Pies are a full serving of pie.

I am an online only bakery, and not always available to do tastings. However, If you wish to taste before booking: I can do a sampler for a $25 deposit upfront which includes up to 6 different flavors of pie. This cost is then deducted from your final total once booked.

Each pop and hand pie includes a clear cello bag with a ribbon or twine of choice. It’s tied in a single-tie for ease of removal. Pie Cups come in a simple cupcake liner for ease of transport (can be in either black, white or Kraft brown). Tin Pies come in a disposable silver metal tin.

I do not provide the displays, however, pie pops and cake pops can be served in any container that traditional florals can be put in. So, wide mouth vases, bins, crates, boxes, planters, etc. I suggest using soft floral foam and a natural filler on top to hide the foam. *For an extra fee, I can provide foam and filler upon request.

Yes, for an extra fee of $30/hr I can do set-up upon request. I will need to work alongside your event planner or venue contact to work out display options and timing. I do not provide the displays, but I can provide floral foam and filler (if needed) for the pops display for an extra fee. *Most installations only take 1-2 hours.

I bake all orders within 24 hours of consumption for optimum freshness. The pies stay fresh up to 5-6 days.

I don’t travel- but my pies can! I can pack pie pops, hand pies and pie cups with intent to travel. The pies stay fresh up to 6 days! The tin pies can travel too but are in much larger containers (keep in mind).
