Hello. My name is Amy Nicole and I am the girl under the Blue Umbrella and the face behind the cloud of flour and sugar. I fell into baking almost by accident after wanting to step away from my office job to find something more fulfilling. I started as a cake decorator in 2014 and transitioned into a bakery manager position before making the leap to business owner. The Blue Umbrella opened in 2018 and it has been an amazing adventure ever since.

The Blue Umbrella Bakery opened in July 2018. Operating as an in-home bakery, the Blue Umbrella specializes in custom cake, cookies, and cupcakes while offering a variety of homemade desserts and pastries. The Blue Umbrella is the bakery that listens to your ideas and brainstorms with you so we can create your Cakeality. We believe every custom dessert should be as unique as the person it is created for.
