Travis Allison Band is based in Charleston, SC and perform everything from Motown to Classic Rock to Country to Current Music. The TAB typically performs as a five piece featuring Travis’ award winning vocals accencuated with Piano/Organ, Guitars, Bass, Drums and Saxophone. The broad musical variety allows the band to ensure something for everyone and keeping a packed dance floor. The TAB’s musical arsenal includes an amazing diversity of material ranging from “Uptown Funk” to “Piano Man,” from Zac Brown Band to Otis Redding to the Beatles.

In addition to performing weddings, Travis Allison is an award winning singer-songwriter. Travis grew up in Greenville, SC and holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Richmond and has released five original albums available on iTunes and (personal information protected by Zola) His latest album Migrant Heart features Edwin McCain on vocals and Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell) on guitar. The Washington Post writes, "…the songs benefit from the sheer quality of writing, whether the tale is impassioned, introspective or inspiring."

    I've seen a lot of "wedding bands" and knew I wanted something with a bit more personality. Travis absolutely nailed what I was looking for - maximum fun but without the corny bits. He got my entire wedding up and dancing, from the young 20-somethings to the grandparents. We also used his guitarist for our ceremony, and he perfectly mastered the quite obscure songs I requested for the processionals. Travis brought an amazing party and was a true professional - very easy to work with. You can't go wrong!

    Stop scrolling through bands and reviews. Travis Allison Band is the one. From start to finish they are world class. We had them for our ceremony through our reception. Travis is a breeze to work with as you curate your wedding day playlist / timeline, even with hopping between live and recorded music when we wanted. We flagged some songs we liked, but they know how to seriously work a crowd and GET THE PEOPLE GOIN. Travis connects with the crowd effortlessly (announcing dinner, speeches, etc.) and every transition is totally fluid. He's simply a great guy too. We were lucky enough to catch him a few times bouncing around Chas before our wedding. We even practiced our first dance song with him at a Mexican restaurant in front of Taco Tuesday haha! So grateful to have him and the whole crew at our wedding. Can't thank you enough Travis! All the best.

    Travis Allison Band was absolutely wonderful! They were the life of the party at our wedding, and I could not recommend them more! All of our guests were, and still are, raving about them. They were great for every age group. If you are looking for a band for any event, they are the way to go! Thank you all for being the cherry on top to a wonderful evening!

    Travis and his band were absolutely phenomenal to work with for our wedding. The music was great; he learned our first dance song perfectly; the selection of music meant there was something for everyone; and he even had tarps to put up to keep the music going as the rain came down. Absolutely professional and a joy to work with. Plus, a bunch of my musician friends from around town recommended Travis and said he's fun to play with. You'll think so too. Thanks, Travis!
