Owner

I’m Mark Addington, owner, founder, emcee, DJ, public speaker, and most importantly…creative at heart. I started my DJ career over 20 years ago for fun and fell in love with it along the way. My goal is to make this choice a simple, informed and fun part of the wedding process. I’m here to communicate and plan pre-wedding so you and your guests can leave it all on the dancefloor the day of the wedding.

This journey started with a love for music, my dad’s vinyl and 2 turntables. I feel like I’ve lived a million lives but music and entertaining has always been a constant. I’ve worked at a casting agency, on movie and commercial sets, acted, modeled, DJ’d on the SF club scene, rocked thousands of events and even worked at my favorite job Pixar! I’m lucky to have so much amazingness in my life and am often told that you can hear my smile through the phone. But enough about me, let’s talk about you!     We were recommended Mark Addington Events by our wedding coordinator. We made contact and immediately knew he was a great choice for our wedding, and he was available for our date. Mark was so easy to work with. He guided us through the process of picking the music without making us feel that we had to do it his way. We were able to give him our music choices and he easily made a song list around them. He was very approachable and excited to be part of our day. We would highly recommend him for your musical needs at your event.

    Mark Addington was a terrific addition to our wedding day! He incorporated everything we asked for with ease, and announced a relatively complex grand entrance for us with minimal direction. He did an awesome job leading the Hora, keeping guests on the dance floor, and following the exact styles of music we were looking for (a perfect mix of oldies, 00s/10s throwbacks, EDM, and classic Bay Area songs). Mark is responsive, friendly, and super easy to work with. I couldn't recommend him enough!

    Mark was an incredible addition to our wedding day. From the very beginning he was communicative, enthusiastic, and supportive throughout the entire planning process. We were able to send him ideas about what music we liked for the different parts of the day and he made us feel confident that he would handle the rest - and he delivered! His music and entertainment truly exceeded our expectations - he created such a fun and lively atmosphere that our guests were raving about for weeks after the wedding. Additionally, he helped to keep our wedding day on schedule by making announcements throughout the day to help guide guests to the next step. We're so grateful to Mark for being a big part of making our special day truly amazing. We would recommend Mark for any event!

    The dance floor was LIT all night long thanks to Mark! He played all the songs on my must-play list, and didn't play any on the do-not-play. He took a few requests from guests which they loved as well. Communication was easy, quick, and efficient. He is so kind and friendly. When last minute changes came up for mics during the ceremony or timing of speeches during the reception, Mark rolled with the punches and had no problem being flexible. I might be biased since it was my own wedding, but I will never be able to experience a better dance party at any other wedding because Mark did such a wonderful job at mine! So many guests let us know it was the most fun they've had at a wedding in a very long time as well, thanks to how good the music was. If I could give mark a million stars in this review, I would!
