Mark Addington Events
I’m Mark Addington, owner, founder, emcee, DJ, public speaker, and most importantly…creative at heart. I started my DJ career over 20 years ago for fun and fell in love with it along the way. My goal is to make this choice a simple, informed and fun part of the wedding process. I’m here to communicate and plan pre-wedding so you and your guests can leave it all on the dancefloor the day of the wedding.
This journey started with a love for music, my dad’s vinyl and 2 turntables. I feel like I’ve lived a million lives but music and entertaining has always been a constant. I’ve worked at a casting agency, on movie and commercial sets, acted, modeled, DJ’d on the SF club scene, rocked thousands of events and even worked at my favorite job Pixar! I’m lucky to have so much amazingness in my life and am often told that you can hear my smile through the phone. But enough about me, let’s talk about you! Mark Addington Events was the perfect DJ for our wedding. From the start, he was open, curious, and easy-going in his communication style, which put us at ease as we planned the music for our big day. The quality of his work was truly top-notch - he was thorough and thoughtful in his approach, and his professionalism shone through every step of the way. Mark was quick to match the songs to the mood of our guests, taking requests and seamlessly transitioning between upbeat dance tunes and traditional songs. He was also a fantastic MC, keeping the energy high and our guests engaged throughout the night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to help make our wedding celebration so special.

Mark is the BEST!
Mark Addington was a terrific addition to our wedding day! He incorporated everything we asked for with ease, and announced a relatively complex grand entrance for us with minimal direction. He did an awesome job leading the Hora, keeping guests on the dance floor, and following the exact styles of music we were looking for (a perfect mix of oldies, 00s/10s throwbacks, EDM, and classic Bay Area songs). Mark is responsive, friendly, and super easy to work with. I couldn't recommend him enough!

Mark was an incredible addition to our wedding day. From the very beginning he was communicative, enthusiastic, and supportive throughout the entire planning process. We were able to send him ideas about what music we liked for the different parts of the day and he made us feel confident that he would handle the rest - and he delivered! His music and entertainment truly exceeded our expectations - he created such a fun and lively atmosphere that our guests were raving about for weeks after the wedding. Additionally, he helped to keep our wedding day on schedule by making announcements throughout the day to help guide guests to the next step.
