Q: What do you wear?

Every DJ is always dressed in a suit or tuxedo for weddings and black tie events, and suits for anniversary, birthdays, and corporate event unless otherwise requested by the client.

Q: Do you take music requests?

Absolutely! We always ask our couples if they have specific requests. It's helpful to give us a list of about 10-15 must-play songs so we can get to know your musical tastes! We also want to know what you DO NOT want played. At the event, we leave it up to the couple to allow guests to make requests. We always respect our couple's wishes.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes! Our DJs can provide music for on-site ceremonies (ceremonies located at the same function hall as your reception). For off-site ceremonies, we have a variety of live musicians to choose from!

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes, all of our DJs carry their own insurance.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

Our entertainers will arrive about an hour or two prior to the start time on your contract to begin setting up. You DO NOT pay for set up or break down - you only pay for the DJ/musicians to play!

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

We offer free travel to locations within a 50 mile radius from the entertainer's home. A travel fee will apply for any locations outside that radius. We do not have a breakdown fee.

Q: Do you provide other services, such as lighting or photo booths?

Yes! We offer UpLighting, PhotoBooth, Dancing on a Cloud, Justice of the Peaces, and Live Musicians!

Q: What are your sales taxes?

We are based in New Hampshire, so there is no sales tax for our services!

We had DJ Kevin M. for our wedding this past Monday & he certainly met our expectations and beyond. We had a thorough meeting of what music & vibes we wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour & reception. He was super helpful & very flexible with us when it came to shifting our reception timeline around so we could make sure our photographer and videographer could capture the special moments we wanted. He was very communicative with my husband and I from start to finish. When it came time for the open dancing, he kept the vibes going all night. We could not be happier with the services, from filling out our music preference sheets to talking with Kevin, the process was very smooth and communication was always opened.

My husband and I had THE best experience with Main Event DJs! I’m a wedding photographer and work with Main Event often, so I knew who I could trust with my own big day. Matt was great from the beginning. He was easy to communicate with, prompt with responses, simple questionnaires and GREAT day of energy and kept the party going!! One of the perks of using our wedding venue (Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH) is they include a DJ through Main Event Entertainment in our chosen package. We were given a worksheet to fill out with our music preferences, and Main Event Entertainment paired us with the perfect DJ, DJ Lloyd Mnaphi. The week before the wedding, we had an opportunity to speak with Lloyd. During this conversation we were able to go over all the details of the day and voice any opinions or concerns. Lloyd was very knowledgeable, easy going and funny and by the end of the phone call, we looked forward to having him be our DJ on the big day. Then the big day came and Lloyd did an incredible job! He made sure to check in with us and made sure everyone partied the night away. Once the event was over, we had numerous people approach us asking if we knew Lloyd before the wedding or if he was recommended. Many people were shocked to hear that he was assigned to us by Main Event Entertainment after only reviewing our worksheet. We would highly recommend Main Event Entertainment and Lloyd to people looking for a DJ or getting married at Granite Rose!

I recommend Atkinson Resort & Country Club for any special occasion, especially your wedding. The workers made every transition so smooth and everything was so perfect. They work with all of your vendors, family, friends, and of course, the special couple. The professionalism is insane and they do all of your decorations and break-down for you. They keep everything in a locked closet so you can just enjoy your big day. Their hotel services are beautiful as well. I seriously could not recommend another place. I wish I could relive our day every day, as it went so perfectly. <3
