What do you wear?

I try and blend in as much as possible. Black collared shirt with black jeans and a white or lightly colored under shirt. My shoes are HOKA's. Great for having to traverse venues or the forest, depending on where you have your wedding.

Do you learn new songs?

Yes! That's why I love this job. I want to keep learning as long as I'm around. New Songs, new traditions, new games, I'm ready to learn how you celebrate!

Do you take music requests?

Yes, I do take requests. If there is a DO-NOT-PLAY playlist, I will always make sure that the music will not come out over the speakers, regardless of how persuasive your bridesmaids or groomsmen may be.

Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes! That's what we do best. Having a commitment to this job is key to giving you the best service. We have been dedicated to this for over 13 years and over 850 weddings DJ'ed.

Yes! ALWAYS ASK YOUR VENDOR if they are insured. It is crucial to dealing with businesses over the phone that you have never met before. The insurance shows professionalism, a commitment to success and they have your best interest at heart.

What is your style?

I like to think of myself as Oz from the Wizard of Oz in wedding scenarios. Pulling strings behind the scenes, staying in the background and creating an organic experience. I do MC events and have been told I am quite charismatic, but I do NOT stay on the microphone and tell jokes, or interrupt the evening unnecessarily. Every time I have to get on a mic, it disrupts the vibe I'm trying hard to create with music. I work with your music tastes and blend that with what I'm observing in the moment. I'm excellent at reading crowds and your wedding will be no different.

How early do you come to set up?

I always arrive 2 to 2 1/2 hours prior to the wedding event. That gives me enough time to set everything up, test for problems and fix those problems before your wedding starts. The worst situation is finding out about a problem after the wedding occurs. I would be lying and saying that audio equipment works every time flawlessly. You want a professional who knows how to fix problems discreetly. That's what the prior time to your wedding is for. This time is not charged additionally. I arrive early on my own time to ensure a successful wedding.

Do you provide other services, such as lighting or photo booths?

Yes! Dance floor lighting is included with every Reception Package. My lighting is a great addition to your dance floor to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The warm colors are great for photos. Dance floor lighting is a must for any reception!

Question 9

What is your travel and break down fee?

Accepted Answer

I do not have travel or break down fees. I have an "All-Inclusive" pricing structure, meaning the price I quote you will be the price that it stays the entire time. You will not be charged additional fees later on. I will determine your needs prior to the quote. I will never charge you more than the original quoted price. That includes travel, set up, break down, meals, or any other expense I incur.
