What type of equipment do you provide?

I provide top quality speakers, wireless hand held and lapel microphones, dance floor lights and uplights. I do not provide photo booths or fog machines.

How early do you come to set up?

I like to arrive 2 hours before the event starts. I'm usually done setting up in 1 hour but prefer to give myself enough extra time.

How can you charge so much less than other DJs?

Entertaining people is my passion, I'm not looking at it as a business. DJing is not my only source of income so I can provide quality service for couples with a limited budget.

What is your DJ style?

I'm an open format DJ, which means that I play all music genres. I usually don't play long sets of similar sounding songs. I like to play music to all ages and music tastes to keep everybody entertained. I also use the microphone in between songs to keep the crowds excited.

Do you provide a contract outlining the terms of service?

Yes, I do. The contract that I provide can be signed online.

What is your pricing structure? Are there any additional fees?

I charge one low price. I only charge additional fees for requests that requires me to spend extra time or money. Any additional fee will only be charged if it was previously agreed upon.

Yes, I always carry backup equipment with me.

Can we request specific songs or genres for our wedding playlist?

Absolutely. I will send out a wedding questionnaire after booking that couples can fill out. This questionnaire includes requests for songs you want me to play, also types of songs you do not want at your wedding.

How do you handle song requests from guests during the event?

Couples can specify if they want guest requests at the reception or not. If guest requests are allowed I have a huge collection of songs on my hard drive, I also use streaming services. Couples can also specify what type of song request should be declined.

No, I don't. There are providers specializing in those services that you can hire.

How far in advance do we need to book your services?

In some cases I can be booked almost last minute, 1 month or more is recommended. I can also be booked more than a year ahead.

Are you available for weddings outside of your local area?

I normally cover areas within a 1 hour drive from ZIP code 30041 (Forsyth county, GA). However I would consider farther weddings as well. Contact me with details.

What attire do you typically wear for weddings?

I wear the attire the client requests. For weddings normally a suit and tie or bow tie. I also like to wear a fedora if it's OK with the client.

I am familiar with a lot of different cultures from around the world. If you have any specific requests, I'd be glad to work with you, do some research and prepare songs and traditions for your wedding.

What is your booking process?

Accepted Answer

I will send you a short questionnaire for basic information about the wedding. Using that information I draft up a contract. If everything looks good on the contract the person(s) responsible for the booking can sign it online. After I receive the signed contract I request a 25% non-refundable booking fee. Once I receive the booking fee, the date for the wedding will be locked in on my calendar. After that I send out a long questionnaire with all the details that I need to get prepared. I request the long questionnaire to be completed no later than 30 days before the wedding.

How many hours of service does your Wedding package include?

My wedding service is not limited by any amount of hours. If I'm hired, you have me for the entire length of the event. Most often the length of the event will be limited by the closing time of the venue.
