The first time I photographed a wedding was intensely nerve-wracking, but as the day wore on it really started to click and I fell in love with getting to be such an important part of the celebration. “2020 has been crazy for everyone. We originally had a big wedding planned in late August but COVID had other plans. So we decided to have a much smaller ceremony and Ryan was willing to help. We got ahold of him a week or so before and told him the basic plans, even though we had actually planned none of it, and he was more than willing to accommodate us. We started planning on a Monday and the wedding was on that Thursday and he didn't miss a beat and managed to be extremely helpful. The pictures we got were amazing in a lot of different ways. He took a lot of great photos of us getting ready before the ceremony. He was able to capture our intimate ceremony very well. He did all of the things we wanted and was also able to suggest a lot of great ideas to capture the day. He even managed to get some great candids when we were having fun and joking around before, during, and after the ceremony. Ryan Richardson was very professional and the pictures are amazing but more than that he was able to make us less stressed during a very short, high-stress planning period. Because of the reassurances and communication during the planning period, we knew that our pictures would come out great with Ryan.”

Our engagement shoot around our NYC neighborhood was a joy to do (even on a cold and rainy November day, and with my slightly camera-shy now-husband). Coco provides so much communication and support throughout the process, so you're never left wondering "what do I do with my hands?" "do I look crazy with this smile?" Those photos came out FANTASTIC. So cool, creative, unique, and exactly matching my vision. It also made my husband feel much more confident going into the wedding day. He felt safe with Coco! On the actual wedding day, I was genuinely glad to have Coco and her 2nd shooter Bailey around. They both had chill but fun energy and didn't add an ounce of stress - it really felt just like just 2 more fabulous friends around. My day was a bit complicated with my husband and I having separate getting ready locations and no first look. Coco confidently took the lead to make sure everything was executed flawlessly, even with unexpected hold-ups and changes to plan. I absolutely love the final product of the wedding photos. Nothing feels stuffy and posed, and they all capture what the evening really felt like. She even put together a video reel of key moments that really transports the viewer to the day. Pure vibes, love, and warmth. ZERO cheesiness! I would recommend Coco to any couple looking for something modern, romantic, warm, vibey, and unique. I'm sure she would also slay traditional posed wedding photos, but her talent truly shines in her authentic style.”
