I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I'm also a musician and I help craft most of the music in the wedding films I create. I love working with couples that have unique personalities and styles. My work resonates the most with who it's made for, and I always keep that audience in mind.

Boettcher Films was made in an attempt to slow down and simplify. Using only film formats, my husband and I have been documenting weddings on Super8 and 35mm since 2020. With many trial and errors, blank rolls, and jammed shutters, I've come to fall in love with the art of learning film. If you treat it right, it blossoms with its magical colors and grains. My family and I are nestled in a small farming community west of Houston, Texas. Our desire for slow intentional living has fostered not only our wedding inspiration, but also how we do life. You will find these themes woven throughout our work.
