The Mt. Zion Convention Center is a multipurpose meeting and convention facility located in the newly constructed Mt. Zion Village East building along State Highway 121. The Carriage House offers the open elegance of a 35-foot vaulted ceiling with two-story windows on both sides of the building. Seating capacity is 250 and additional seating is available on the outdoor patio. Fox Run Golf Club is the perfect wedding venue, located just outside of St. Louis, for wedding ceremonies. We find that this is most convenient for both you and your guests as they can walk right from the ceremony at the Pavilion to the reception at The Carriage House. White wooden chairs and a full microphone system are included at the Pavilion at Fox Run.

Andre’s at Sunset Hills, nestled in the gently rolling landscape of Saint Louis County in Sunset Hills, has everything you could want for a corporate event, wedding, or any other event. The tranquil setting offers both ample privacy and a distinct flavor. With scenic views of the surrounding countryside, hallmarked by the westward-facing panoramic windows, your event will be bathed in the magical glow of the iconic Midwestern sunset. Inside the banquet hall feel the warmth of the outdoor light as it falls upon the wood floor, and is echoed on the white linen tablecloths.

Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.
