Hi! I'm Katie, an East Coast & Destination Wedding Photographer, based in Washington D.C. After taking a high-school photography class–it quickly became clear that I loved the art of photography. Soon after graduating, I was offered an internship position near Chicago that allowed me to continue to dive into the world of studio lighting, image editing, and commercial photography; continuing to hone on the technical skills that often get left behind when you have the digital screen to instantly see your work. A few years later, I photographed a friends wedding and it became crystal clear that this was exactly what I wanted to pursue.

I have the most amazing memories from childhood of being cuddled up with my Granny going through old pictures. The joy and nostalgia that came from those old film photos where everything.
