I have been photographing weddings and events for 8 years, and I couldn't imagine anything more fulfilling than capturing the sweetest and most authentically beautiful moments in my couples' lives. I love making new friends in my clients and can't wait to become one of yours!

Awarded Best of Zola
I worked with Melissa and her team on an April 2023 wedding in New Jersey (which I was planning/coordinating). From the moment we were introduced to one another, Melissa was extra communicative, kind and patient. She made sure to be attentive to my couple's desires and weighed in with her opinion too. It allowed the couple and the rest of the vendors to feel at ease when the day of arrived. Melissa and her team are fun to work with and I can't wait to work with her again!!!

Juan and Emily

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees

Soon after Juan and Emily got married in 2018 Juan began his photography career as a light technician in LA. Juan studied journalism for his undergrad, and this is when he was gifted his first camera and his interest in photography was sparked. Emily's childhood dream was to be a photographer, and after working for years as an ICU nurse she is able to do just that alongside Juan. We are energized by the creativity that photography brings, and the light and joy we experience from meeting couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working alongside Juan was my best experience of photographing with a second shooter in all of 2022! He is collaborative with the other vendors as well as the couple. A great listener and leader, he is helpful as well as overflowing with ideas of his own! He also has an impressive in-depth knowledge of light, color, and film. Juan is insightful and excited for every part of the day. His hybrid approach to shooting digital and film is sure to provide all the clients he works with, an album they will look back on, with joy and refreshed excitement forever.

I’m thrilled to meet you and start creating a connection! I began photographing weddings four years ago and quickly realized the most meaningful moments are unscripted—raw, emotional, and unforgettable. Capturing these authentic experiences is my passion. With a background as an outdoor educator and a wilderness therapist, I bring a unique perspective and skill set to wedding photography. Whether guiding backpacking trips or earning a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, each chapter of my life has shaped my ability to support couples with humor, care, and creativity. Let’s capture your day exactly as it unfolds!

Haley was such a pleasure to work with. We were unsure of where to have our elopement pictures taken. She gave us so many great recommendations. She was so helpful along the way, leading up to our big day! She helped take the stress out of worrying about the details of the day. She even had an assistant to help with our fur babies on the day off. She is so sweet and thoughtful. The polaroids were definitely one of our favorite parts of our wedding pictures. I would recommend Haley to anyone wanting to have their elopement/wedding brought to life by photography.

Happiness looks amazing on everyone, and my style is centered around just that. If you're looking for joyful, genuine images that are as unique as you are, then you've come to the right place!

We worked with Hilary as the as our second shooter on our big day! We didn't know her beforehand, but she instantly won us over with her awesome skills and friendly personality. Hilary has a wonderful eye for detail. The pictures truly speak for themselves. Every time we look at them, we're reminded of the emotions and memories we felt on that special day. She's got the skills, the eye for detail, and an amazing personality to match. We're so grateful to have had her as part of our special day, and we'll cherish the memories she captured forever.

Photoflood Studio

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees

Courtney & Jackson are wedding, elopement & family photographers based in San Francisco, California but available for travel worldwide. We go wherever love takes you. Photoflood Studio is a wife + husband team from San Francisco, California. We are wedding photographers servicing NorCal to SoCal and beyond. Photoflood Studio specializes in wedding, engagement, and family photography. We aim to photograph life + love through an honest documentary approach. Our wedding, engagement and family photography is inspired by the beautiful wilderness, the culture of our coastal cities, and wherever you call home.

Awarded Best of Zola
Courtney and Jackson of Photoflood Studios changed our entire wedding experience for the best, and we couldn't be more thankful that we selected them as our photographers. When we started the wedding planning process, it was overwhelming and a little intimidating, especially when we started looking at vendor prices. My husband and I both knew that we wanted to spend the money on a quality photographer because the photos are something we will have forever. When we started browsing, we didn't feel connected to anyone's work until we saw C+J's website. I instantly knew that this is who I wanted, and it didn't take much convincing to get my husband on board. It felt SO good to check photographer off our list early in the game. One thing I loved was that Courtney met us in person to discuss our visions and just to get to know each other before we committed to a contract (it's a big commitment, people!). I emailed her within 48 hours that we wanted to work together, and the rest is history. My husband and I decided we could not afford a videographer, so instead we knew we wanted two photographers. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Courtney and Jackson handled our engagement session and wedding day so seamlessly, it was like they'd been taking our pictures our whole lives! And, we had never had professional pictures taken before! But, I read online that engagement photos are a good warmup and practice for wedding pictures (highly recommend engagement pictures for anyone who is unsure). These two are the epitome of a dream team. We were nervous for our engagement pictures, but they made us feel so comfortable and confident. They also took the time to go to the wedding venue ahead of time and scope out some great locations for our bridal party and newly wed shots. C+J were HUGE proponents to making our wedding day a success. They transformed into photographer/time keepers/event planners - I think they are super heroes!!! Our wedding experience was so flawless with them capturing our special day. We requested a "mega selfie" with us and all our guests, and they made that happen! We snuck off during dinner for the sunset newly wed shots, and they personally drove us around chasing the sunset. It's inexplicable how wonderful these people are. They are so much more than talented photographers, and we are so fortunate to now call them friends. Something else that was really important is that even with all of their photoshoots and other clients, Courtney ALWAYS responded to my emails in a timely manner. She was so on it, and that made me feel really valued and heard. I appreciated that so much, because I was a nervous bride who didn't know what I was getting into. The fact that I always got an email response in a timely fashion was huge brownie points in my book. AND, they send you sneak peeks!! Literally the day after our engagement shoot and wedding day, they sent us a bunch of sneak peeks! There is literally nothing better than getting a taste of your special memories to hold you over until the full gallery is ready. If you are on the fence about photographers, know that your time with C+J of Photoflood Studios will be one of the best parts of your wedding. They want to capture you and your partner as you are, and will never make you feel posed, uncomfortable, or phony. I could write a book about these two and how incredible they made our wedding day. But I'll stop here and just make one final point: Hire them....You will not regret it!!!

Far Out Feeling

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees

Meaghan here - I’m the one from which you’ll hear a lot of “Fuck yeah!!!” and “You guys look so hot!” My inspiration comes from our lord and savior, Janis Joplin, and my style is free movement and honesty. Howdy! I'm Brendon, a quiet Mid-Westerner turned East-Coast loud-mouth who happens to have a knack for photography, editing, graphic illustration, and all things creative. My background comes from shooting fashion shows and exclusive events for BFA.com around NYC, which made me appreciate the avant-garde.

We had a terrific experience working with Meaghan and Brendon of “Far Out Feeling.” If you’ve made it this far, you already love their style – their ability to capture both candid and staged photos artfully – and we are happy to report that the photographers have personalities to match. We loved meeting them for drinks months in advance of our wedding, which gave us a nice context for one another when the day finally came (we cannot imagine, now, not knowing our wedding photographers when they arrived to take pictures of us!) We perhaps didn’t consider how crucial this feeling of comfort was, but when you think about, you do spend a tremendous portion of your wedding day with your photographers. Meaghan and Brendon felt like friends, which made even the parts of the wedding that we don’t like (posing!) feel easy, natural, and fun. Meaghan and Brendon were incredibly responsive, from first to last. They always got back to us the day we had a question, and even weeks after our wedding, they were responding to our technical difficulties within minutes. And the photos themselves turned out great! Again, you’ve probably seen evidence of this already. We cannot wait to print them, frame them, and, in all likelihood, post them relentlessly to our Instagram stories. A huge thank you to Meaghan and Brendon, who we recommend whole-heartedly.

We are all here for you. All your family, your friends and I (yes, me too!) are here to honor you on your wedding day! As excited as I am to get to the dancefloor with you guys, I know a lot of planning goes into making your day special. As your photographer, I’ve been to a few weddings and am just a call or text away from any insight you might want. I approach every wedding with the same mentality, how can I tell the story of today in the most real way possible? I’ve found the best way to do that is to just be me. I allow myself to be present and listen to the stories unfold throughout the day.

Marla Manes Photography

  • Serves Thousand Palms, CA for additional fees
  • Offer

Hi, I’m Marla, and I’ve had a camera in my hands since I could hold one. Travel is what first sparked my love of photography– I felt the need to document every gorgeous landscape in my sights across Europe, Asia, the South Pacific, and here in the States. Once I started taking portraits, though, everything shifted, and I became obsessed with documenting love. I value photos as memories, and they’re extremely precious to me. To me, the ability to freeze a moment in time so you’ll always be able to return to that beauty and joy is nothing short of magic.

Seriously where to begin with how incredible Marla is as an incredible and artistic photographer, professional and organized business owner, and welcoming and beautiful person. She immediately makes you feel comfortable talking with her and she puts a ton of effort into getting to know you and your story. She cares so deeply about her couples and goes above and beyond with client experience before, during, and after your session with her. You spend a ton of time with your photographer, and this is who you want as your cheerleader, your confidant, and your friend on wedding/elopement day. Her eye for light is inspiring and you never again will say "I'm so awkward in front of the camera" because her posing is effortless and genuine. She brings out the best in you and your partner and your connection. Candid moments, deep emotion, and joyful forever memories! Marla is the photographer you've been looking for!

Karina Dopp Designs Jackson Hole Photographer

  • Photojournalistic style

A few years ago I was in your shoes, except, I didn't get the images of my dreams. I got a photographer for our wedding day, and I had no idea what I was doing. On the day of my wedding, my photographer made me feel stressed and uncomfortable with all the posing and lack of communication. And when I got my images back, I wasn't happy with the results and there wasn't anything I could do about it. That's why I'm here for YOU! Because your wedding is more than just a day with some photos.

Where do I start?! Karina is incredible at what she does. We were a little overwhelmed with coming up with the timeline for the day, and which poses at which spots, and even the ceremony start time. But she was a huge help with all of that!! Her knowing where the sun would be at certain times of day, thinking of cool shots to do and where. Her knowledge about photography, creativit, and the familiarity with Grand Teton NP was just so invaluable. Neither myself or my (now) wife are big picture takers. But Karina really helped a ton with coming up with poses and directing us on how to stand, where to stand etc. We started off awkward, but within a few minutes she had us fully comfortable. It was such a perfect day and the sneak peeks she sent were absolutely incredible and fun to look through. We are so freaking excited and cannot wait to see the rest! She also did an Astro photography sesh at the end with us which was bada and so worth it!!

Hi! I'm Isabella. I'm a 22 year old Arizona based photographer- but you can take me pretty much anywhere! My passion is taking photos of people in love! I'm always down for an adventure in order to get the best shots.

Bells Photo was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, their communication was clear, quick, and kind - they made the entire process a breeze. The quality of their work was simply stunning. Their photos beautifully captured the moody, vintage-meets-modern aesthetic I was going for, and she expertly posed us while also catching all the candid, special moments throughout the day. Bells Photo matched my inspiration board perfectly and gave us great direction on how to pose, while never being intrusive or drawing attention away from the celebration. I literally couldn't recommend a local photographer more - she got our full galleries back to us within a month, and I'm in love with how the photos turned out. Bells Photo is an absolute must-hire for any couple looking for stunning, memorable wedding photos.

We are Nadia & Gunnar. We love being outside. We met during our early years in college on our school swim team and had a few photography classes together. It was through our mutual love of photography that we started dating.  Fast forward 9 years we are now married!!!   We are both passionate with two diverse backgrounds: Nadia in fine art and Gunnar in journalism/documentary film making. When it comes to shooting we feel we are blessed to be able to pursue what we love together. We are all about what’s real; capturing life’s small (and large!) moments.

As a wedding photographer myself, I have high and clear expectations when it comes to photography. Nadia & Gunnar are my go-to photography team when I need to hire a second photographer. I have the unique experience and privilege of hiring them again and again. I never have to worry about a thing when they are on my team. Both individuals are reliable, consistent, and creative. They always show up early. They are constantly pushing their craft and trying to learn new things. They are extremely detail oriented so couples never have to worry about looking their best. Quiet in nature, Nadia & Gunnar are a calming support system on what is otherwise a chaotic day. I trust them completely with my couples and with my couples' loved ones.

I am there to be a partner in the planning process, get pumped about the personal touches of your day, and help you feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera. When I am not making magic with rad couples, I can usually be found hanging out with my husband (and bff), Josh, and our little one, Juniper, getting my boots dirty, or snuggling with my pups.

Amber has all these down and then some. She is 100% a team player and also is always on the lookout for those unique, special moments that just make a wedding. Coral was amazing to work with! We had the pleasure of getting to know her when we booked her last-minute to take some photos of my good friends' small backyard ceremony in 2018. When my husband and I later got engaged, we knew we had to book Coral to capture our own planned festivities for June 2020. When 2020 rolled around and it became apparent that we had to scrap most of our original plans, we couldn't have asked for a better partner than Coral. Her flexibility and encouragement during what was a crazy time for everyone kept us sane. We unfortunately nixed all of our other vendors with the changes we made, but kept Coral because we knew we wanted her there to capture whatever our day turned out to be. Coral captured beautiful photos of our two(!) wedding/reception dates and we are so glad to have those treasured photos. She's incredibly easy to work with and made everyone feel so comfortable, especially as my family and I don't get in front of the camera very often. We can't recommend Coral enough!

I am a passionate Boho Upstate NY wedding photographer dedicated to capturing the love between couples, ensuring that these cherished moments are preserved for a lifetime. Life is fleeting, and I believe in commemorating those precious moments because one day, those tiny hands will be grown, the hands we exchange rings with will become wrinkled, and all we'll have left are memories. That's where I come in—I specialize in capturing the essence of your special moments, whether it's a Family Session, Wedding, or any significant life event, providing you with timeless images to cherish forever.

Abigail photographed my engagement and wedding photos in May and October. She made an already special time into something magical. As someone who has never felt beautiful, the way she captured the day made me finally feel that way for the first time. She and her second shooter were both so sweet and on top of every moment of the day. She was so organized and knew exactly what she wanted to do for the photos, making the day feel like a breeze. Her boho editing style perfectly complemented the fairytale/fantasy feeling of the wedding. Overall, a wonderful experience and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to photograph mine and my husband’s special day.

My goal is to always create images that will stand the test of time.

Tyler was truly a gift to have as part of our wedding. He very carefully, and effectively, cultivated perfect settings for photographs that didn’t feel cheesy. He really understood the importance of angles and worked hard to find each of our best. Really, so so many of his photographs ended up breathtaking. If I were to do it all over again, I would have Tyler by my side to document my momentous day!

I knew she was amazing from her work, but I was blown away with her attention to detail and her attention to us. She made us feel at ease from day one, and took the time during our engagement session to make my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our images are STUNNING, I can't stop looking at them. Thank you again Sydney for everything, you made our dream day come true!

I love the chaos and joy of a wedding day and the importance of capturing those moments is never missed on me.

Hi! My name is Nikholas, I am a wedding and special event photographer based in Arizona. My photography journey started about 8 years ago when I got my first camera as a gift, slowly evolving from a hobby into a passion that I pursue every day. Throughout my journey, I've always felt most drawn to working with people and documenting their emotions. We all live very unique and special lives and being able to capture and share those moments that are so real, so full of pure feeling is...amazing. The best photos are felt, not seen.

Somehow he encapsulates all the warmth and emotions in the pictures. 100% satisfied with Nicholas and plan to continue working with him in the future!

As soon as I saw Anna's portfolio, I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding. Her photographs looked so ethereal and magical and I loved the way she managed to make the couples look candid but also beautifully posed at the same time. Anna had two Zoom calls with us before our wedding day and was fantastic at helping us carve out a timeline in our heads. She was professional, punctual and lovely. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and the photographs were some of the most beautiful images and we couldn't be happier. Not to mention, Anna sent us our very generous "sneak peek" album within FIVE days of the wedding! I could not recommend Anna more. Her work speaks for itself and her professionalism and wonderful attitude seals the deal! Thank you again, Anna!

I’ve lived all over this beautiful country, but now call Alaska my permanent home. Alaska’s rugged beauty is what led me to become a photographer. I love telling a story with images and am always up for an adventure to get a shot, so don’t hesitate to share your ideas! When I’m not capturing life in images, I’m probably working on a DIY project with my hubby, snuggling with my fur babies, or managing our hobby farm which includes chickens, turkeys, pigs, beehives and a full garden.

Your wedding is a reflection of your individuality, and it deserves to be as distinctive as you are. Let us create art from your wedding day that is extraordinary and uniquely yours. We specialize in vibrant, contemporary, and dynamic photography for couples who boldly embrace their authenticity and are ready to celebrate in style. Our approach is centered around you and your relationship. We curate a bespoke experience that is dedicated to originality. Our natural posing technique emphasizes movement and genuine emotions, ensuring that the authenticity of your wedding day is beautifully present in every photograph.

Working with Sara Bishop for my late-September wedding in Scottsdale was an absolute dream. I was initially drawn to Sara’s fun and funky aesthetic and her ability to capture candid, genuine emotions over stiff, posed photos. That was exactly what I wanted—and she delivered a million times over! Looking through my photos feels like is like reliving my wedding all over again. Sara managed to capture every special guest and moment in ways that showcased their personalities and the incredible vibe of our day. Every time I look at them, I find a new favorite—it’s going to be so hard to decide which ones to display because there are just so many amazing options! Beyond the photos, Sara was a joy to work with every step of the way. Before the wedding, she sent proactive emails asking for our family shot list and other photo requests, which put me at ease that nothing would be missed. On the day itself, she brought a detailed timeline and kept things moving quickly—it was a very hot day so we were hoping to get our outdoor photos done as quickly as possible and Sara made that happen. During the reception, Sara and her assistant blended seamlessly into the party, capturing all of the energy without being intrusive. Sara delivered our highlights promptly, and the full gallery arrived about six weeks later. Her website offers some great options for purchasing prints, which I can’t wait to take advantage of in the new year. If you’re looking for wedding photos that are full of fun, candor, and raw emotion, I cannot recommend Bish enough!

Born and raised in Maine, I dream of one day retiring there by the sea, like a real life Miss Rumphius. But until then, I live just outside of Boston with my husband and our three cats. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, but we waited more than a decade before saying our own vows. Sometimes (okay, often) I eat cake for breakfast, so you can always count on me to help taste test yours. If I'm not photographing people in love, I'm probably enjoying a glass (bottle) of champagne on the couch or planning my next adventure. I believe everything is better by the ocean and you should never wait to explore the world.

Kelsey gifted us a truly wonderful wedding day experience the moment she arrived at the venue. She was kind, professional, lively, and made us forget that a 'stranger' was creating some of our most treasured memories. Kelsey was so easy to connect with and made the entire experience a fun and beautiful part of our special day that as a result produced our incredible, moment capturing photos. Like with anything I do, I’ve put much heart, work and energy into photography. Yet, the most rewarding part are still the emotions, and happy messages I get from my clients. Nothing charges and empowers me more. On your wedding day, you shouldn't have to worry, cause I am there to help you in every way possible. I make sure your dress is all nice and fluffed in every picture, that there is nothing in your teeth, I catch every fly away and I am there to be your hype girl.

I can't gush over Grace enough. After postponing our wedding twice due to Covid, we abandoned our original plans of having a huge wedding at home in Kentucky and decided to have a small ceremony at the beach in Florida. After finding Grace through hashtags on Instagram, we DMed a bit and setup a call. After talking on the phone, I was sold! Grace was my go to girl for all things Florida. She had the BEST recommendations for other vendors and was ALWAYS just a text away if I had any questions or simply needed someone to share wedding plans with. Even though we didn't actually meet in person until the day of the ceremony, it felt as if we had been lifelong friends. She PERFECTLY captured our ceremony and I can't wait to plan another shoot with her when we visit again!!
