Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

Bohemia Overlook sprawls over 160 idyllic acres and sits on the shore of the expansive Elk River with unparalleled views. In the center of it all sits Blue Elk Vineyard, 14 acres of the finest wine grapes Maryland has to offer. We offer two tented wedding venues on the water as well as a barn venue. Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. It’s one of our greatest assets to be able to give our clients a robust and fulfilling event experience.

The Reading Country Club grand ballroom, our most popular reception venue, comfortably serves approximately 250 guests and has a large dance floor. Between anniversary dinners, baby showers, and birthday parties, there are endless occasions to get together and celebrate at Reading Country Club.

Camp Oak Hill offers its guests exclusive use of the entire Camp Oak Hill property and all indoor and outdoor rental facilities. Couples that book Camp Oak Hill for at least two nights may hold Wedding ceremonies and receptions as part of their camping experience. Wedding ceremonies may be held anywhere on Camp Oak Hill property, but couples typically take advantage of the Williamson Amphitheater in the woods. The 120-140 seat amphitheater is beautifully set under a canopy of trees.

Domaine Pterion: Vineyard & Winery features 60 acres of property with picturesque vineyards, a fully renovated historic bank barn from 1780, and beautifully matured landscapes. The estate offers several venue spaces and can accommodate up to 160 guests.
