Floral design caught Kaitlyn off guard in the best way. A few years ago, she took a workshop on flower arranging and it was then that something ignited within her. She started creating arrangements and giving them as gifts, taught workshops using those same skills she learned, and used floral arranging as a form of her own self-care. “I love that no two floral arrangements are the same. You can use the same elements in two arrangements, but they’re all one-of-a-kind. Working with flowers is so peaceful, and it brings such joy to create something beautiful and unique." Like some it started with a little camera originally to capture our children as they went on field trips, vacations, and other documentations of life. I quickly began venturing into photographing other families and children. A very good friend of mine invited me to shoot her wedding. This was something I haven't quite thought about doing but was super excited for the Opportunity since I was exploring my different options at the time. When I tell you I fell in love! I really did! I came to Raleigh back in 2012 to attend NC State University and made Raleigh my permanent home.
