1101 Southern Kitchen has been a dream of mine since high school. My cooking journey began with selling desserts during school holidays then advancing to selling full plates at my mom's jobs. I knew then culinary was my path. Years later, I finally followed my heart and quit my management job to completed culinary arts school. I started 1101 Southern Kitchen a few years ago offering corporate catering throughout the city. In 2019, I took leap and entered the world of wedding catering. Now I get to share my love for food and my artistic culinary creations with the world by creating amazing meals for brides, grooms, & their guest!

The concept of Oceanique began aside the cool, clear waters of Barbados in 1995. Darlene was already actively marketing Barbados as a destination and offering destination event services. Bites by Bee strives to STING the taste buds at each event. In addition to taste, we pride ourselves on presentation. We specialize in Cajun/Southern influenced dishes.
