Built in the 1800's, The Larimore is a beautifully restored 6 acre historic estate located in St. Louis, MO. We specialize in hosting beautiful weddings, ranging from large and formal, to small and informal, unique, and even quirky! We offer two dedicated getting ready rooms for both members of the couple, multiple ceremony locations, and a grand banquet hall for your reception! The venue is exclusive use only - meaning the venue is yours for the entire day! We can accommodate up to 180 guests in our reception hall. The venue price includes use of tables, chairs, on-site parking, and more!

We are located in Southern Edgar County out in the country on a pond. We opened in August of 2010 and produce and bottle our own wine. Our banquet hall is 40x60. area. We have a stone fireplace on the South wall and a stone bar. The rest of the room is open. There is a separate door that enters the banquet hall from the outside, and an exit door to the wine garden outside. If you rent our banquet hall, we will supply you with tables & chairs. The tables will have white tablecloths. We do have a beer & liquor license, but this is for special events only and needs to be mentioned at the time of booking your event.

Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.

Built-in 1921 as a home for the American Passion Play, the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA), then known as Bloomington's Scottish Rite Temple, boasted an elegant lobby fronted by a graceful five-arched façade, a ballroom that could seat 1,000 diners and a 1,320-seat theatre that featured the largest stage west of New York. The Mt. Zion Convention Center is a multipurpose meeting and convention facility located in the newly constructed Mt. Zion Village East building along State Highway 121. Modern in design and technology, the Convention Center will serve Mt. Zion and our surrounding community as a destination for local and regional events. It has a grand ballroom that can be divided into three smaller rooms as well as three other small meeting rooms. The grand ballroom contains 11,000 square feet of unobstructed exhibit/meeting space, full-service catering, and experienced staff to help coordinate events of many sizes from as few as ten people to as many as 800 guests!
