The in house team is incredible - Kasie, Kaitlin and Sarah were responsive to every question we had, providing recommendations and offering up any help needed to bring our vision to life. I love that they went above and beyond and sourced local whiskey for our specialty cocktail! Their enormous storage closet of wedding decor saved us a lot of money too. Everything will go smoothly with the Armory team at the helm - they have running events down to a science. The entire space is so beautiful that you do not need to spend on decor - it is industrial but still warm and inviting. The lighting is perfect, the sound system is flawless, and their pulley system of curtains makes for a seamless and beautiful transition between ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The lofted getting ready suite is enormous which was a huge plus: we are an LGBT couple so we had 2 brides and 20 other people eating brunch and getting ready together and we all fit. I am an event planner as my day job so I have high standards and a *lot* of opinions when it comes to events, and there's not a single thing I would have changed or done differently!

My husband and I were married at Settlers Inn this October and could not have picked a better venue! The ceremony and reception were held in the undercroft room, which is a beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace for guests to enjoy. Our wedding planner, Tammy was amazing and was available for last minute planning calls and quickly responded to emails. The staff at Settlers are very friendly and accommodating. Our guests were very impressed! We could not recommend Settlers more!

We didn’t go into our wedding with many clear ideas, but I had a clear “vibe” for the venue that I was looking for. We visited dozens of places and were about to give up when someone from a local restaurant told us to check out Magnolia. Thank god we did – I walked in and started tearing up. We didn’t have an appointment, but they gave us a tour anyway, and we fell in love. Although you can’t see it from the road, the moment you step inside Magnolia feels like you’ve entered a beautiful hidden forest glen. The only word we could think of to describe it, and the word we heard over and over from our guests, was “magical”. Everyone we met and worked with at Magnolia was great, but Cheyenne is truly amazing. By the end of the wedding day, it felt like we had gained a family member. She is so kind, thoughtful, creative, and fun. We called her with big problems and small questions and just curious thoughts, and each time she treated the conversation as the highest priority. She went out of her way to make sure our day was exactly how we pictured it, from finding us a local taco truck (and taste testing them for us!) to securing last minute umbrellas when the weather suddenly shifted. We called a lot of vendors, but after speaking with them, almost always ended up going with Cheyenne’s recommendation – we liked them best! And from food, to photography & videography, to music, we were happy with how everything turned out. Shout out to Love & Light, Mackey, and DJ Ruben! It did rain the day-of, but it only added to the beautiful scenery, the experience, and even the photos. The pavilion added plenty of cover for the majority of the night and Cheyenne coolly handled all wrinkles that appeared. We got married last year in June, and it’s taken a while to write this review, in part because it doesn’t quite feel like we can ever find the words to truly express our gratitude and appreciation for Cheyenne and Magnolia. Thank you for making our day feel as magical as we do when we’re together. Can’t wait to come back for our anniversary each year!

Coming from NYC, we had our eyes set on an indoor-outdoor venue that could capture the beauty of the Catskills region. We spent many weekends visiting venues and when we stepped into Wildflower on Watts we immediately knew that it was the one. Their entire property is meticulously designed from their landscaping to the barn architecture. Start to finish the experience was as amazing as their property. Bethany, who runs Wildflower, is the sweetest and kindest person I’ve ever worked with, which is something that was shared with all of our vendors and anyone that spoke with her. She helped us throughout the process and was incredibly patient with all of the little things we asked her about. The day of the wedding was perfect and we utilized everything they offered. We had an amazing landscaped backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour then enjoyed the night with dinner and dancing in their barn. Everything was perfect and couldn’t recommend this venue more. Thank you!

Our wedding was originally planned for May of 2020. Pre-COVID, Ashley was very communicative and answer every question timely making us elated with our venue of choice. Once COVID hit we had to adjust our wedding timeline to July. Ashley went above and beyond to help us make all accommodation changes. She kept us informed of protocol and helped us ensure we could still have our wedding while following all safety measures needed for COVID. While our wedding had many bumps, none of them were because of the Anthracite Center and if we needed a redo, we would chose them over and over again.

We are SO grateful to Camp Lindenmere for having the most beautiful venue and the most supportive, helpful staff! I knew I wanted a camp wedding from day 1 of planning, but most camps require a lot of DIY. Kyle, Elliot and staff are SO on top of planning ,guest bookings, timelines, day of coordination, doing all the set up (I mean we literally brought in our mug favors and they put the little “thank you” tags on, they put batteries in our taper candles, etc. I swear they don’t say no.) The food all weekend was incredible, the drinks were flowing (my husband and I were CRAVING the ribs we had at the reception for a full week after). Our guests were really pleasantly surprised at the “country club” feel of the summer camp - staff is always around on golf carts to escort guests as needed, there’s even a beer golf cart going around on Saturday. The waterfront was beautiful, everyone got a kick out of the high ropes course, people were playing volleyball under the lights all hours of the night. They told us the after-party would end at 1:30 but we were partying til 3:30 and no one was kicking us out. I’m trying to convince everyone I know to get married here so I can come back as a guest!

We loved having our wedding at Montdale Country Club! Their communication was always fast and efficient over text, which made planning a breeze. The venue itself was simply gorgeous, with a spacious patio and gazebo overlooking the lake that made for beautiful photos and an unforgettable reception. We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

Seminary Hill is an all-season flexible space that offers a distinctive venue to host your weekend wedding. Located 2 ½ hours northwest of NYC, our holistic apple and pear orchard and working cidery provide breathtaking views of the Catskills and the Delaware River Valley. We offer both indoor and outdoor settings. You may stage your ceremony on a high ridge overlooking the Delaware River or nestled among the apple and pear trees. You may serve lunch or dinner in our award-winning Tasting Room or our elegant Wedding Tent. We had a Fall wedding at Seminary Hill and I couldn't recommend this venue more! The view is STUNNING. The house is perfect. The guest house is an absolute bonus (we invited close friends to stay next door). And the folks at Seminary Hill are a pleasure to work with, especially the property manager Bill. He was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. He helped us wrangle vendors before the wedding, he helped with setup and when any issues arose the day before, and he was just all-around a pleasure to work with. He made our experience so enjoyable and he was also instrumental to ensuring the weekend ran smoothly. We really couldn't recommend this venue more.

The Villa Roma truly offers a fully customizable bridal package. We were allowed to bring our own decor as well as borrow some too. You have several choices on ceremony locations. The Villas are a bit outdated and we had some plumbing issues, however maintenance was quick to respond. The reception hall is very nice and large, you can fit 100 people no problem. Again, fully customizing settings, decor and table placements. Cheryl is the events coordinator for the entire resort. Since she is in charge of all the events, she definitely has a full plate. If you are looking for a day of coordinator that can walk you through each second of the day, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to hire outside the Villa. If you are a type A planner, it would be my recommendation that you frequently email and coordinator with the team at the Villa. Cheryl was very accommodating and even moved our ceremony location an hour before starting, due to concerns with the weather. Alicia, who is the head bartender, stepped in and helped decorate, helped direct staff during the wedding day and she made the best signature drinks ever! She even popped in at our after party for more congrats! If you’re organized and know what you want, the possibilities are endless here. The views are beautiful, the food fantastic and the wait staff very helpful. I would recommend this venue.

I seriously do not have enough amazing words to say about Linda and her team! I got married at the Ridgecrest venue in July and wow was the view stunning!! My guests (200) of them, could not stop talking about how gorgeous this venue was and how amazing the service was. It truly was the best day of my life! Linda and her team had everything organized for the whole year leading up to the wedding and not a single thing went wrong. I had a ton of guests stay at the Inn on site and absolutely loved it. The whole atmosphere of Stroudsmoor is unbelievable. If you want a wedding where everything goes perfectly and is in the hands of outstanding professionals, then this is the venue for you!! truly truly can’t say enough great things. You would be beyond lucky to have this team plan your wedding and on wedding day! (Shout out to Belkin for being the greatest on wedding day and by my side all night for anything I needed)!! Cannot wait to come back here for anniversaries. Felt like a fairy tale and the wedding of my dreams.

Cedar Lakes Estate is a slice of heaven on earth. I have had the pleasure of working with Cedar Lakes Estate for the last 5-6 years. Everything that the CLE team does is done with the intention of creating the most magical + memorable experience for their guests. They always put their best foot forward and understand what it takes to produce flawless events. So where do I begin? Food + Beverage: Their delicious food will melt in your mouth and will blow your mind. One of the things that I appreciate about their menus is that it is the farthest from wedding catering. It is so good that I have used them in NYC for events and weddings. Their culinary skills are sharp and they do what they do really, really well. Their menus are approachable but their flavor profiles + presentation are high end. CLE Team: One of my favorite things and strongest asset of CLE is their staff and team. Their serving staff is trained in house and are not random cater waiters. Their staff takes extreme pride in what they do each day and weekend and you can tell. They are invested in the client and in the brand which translates in everything they touch and do. From their management team all the way through to their housekeeping staff their team's hospitality + hard work is consistent. As a planner It's wonderful peace of mind. The Grounds: I like to say that CLE is the Disneyland of wedding venues and each year it gets better and better. I love being able to create unique and personalized events with my couples at CLE because the options are endless when producing an eventful wedding weekend. It doesn't matter what season your event is, there is always something to do for everyone. Accommodations: I mean...they are dreamy! It is such a treat to be able to host so many guests on a property. It changes the dynamic of a wedding weekend when you have the ability to host a large portion of your family and friends onsite. It makes it so much more fun + memorable! Not only are the accommodations comfortable, they are styled beautifully and allow guests to feel like it is a home away from home. The value that you receive from hosting an event or wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate is priceless. Your guests and family will talk about it forever and ever! This was our first time at Crossed Keys Estate, and from the moment we did our research, we knew we were in for something special. The estate’s 30 acres of history, with stunning gardens, towering 200-year-old trees, and a charming farmhouse, provide the perfect mix of modern and rustic elegance. One of our favorite aspects? The venue hosts just one wedding a day, so all the attention and resources are devoted to the couple—a huge plus for creating a seamless experience. From the beginning, Erika and Jeremy were so laid-back and excited to enjoy their day. The preparation spaces were perfect—the girls had a beautiful rustic farmhouse, while the guys had a spacious house just down the gravel road, complete with a golf green for a little fun before the festivities. We love incorporating multiple, and Crossed Keys Estate offered the perfect backdrop for each one. From the emotional bridesmaids' reveal to the heartwarming first look between Erika and her dad (we could feel the intensity of the moment from the sidelines), and finally, the groom's first look on the picturesque grounds—it was magical. The estate’s swing under the giant tree and the intimate reflection pond were standout spots for capturing stunning couple photos, tucked away from the crowd. The reception space was equally amazing. The modern hall, with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowed gorgeous natural light to flood the room, making for a perfect backdrop for the celebration and the sweetheart table. Working with Katrina, the Senior Venue Coordinator, was a breeze. Every request the couple had was thoroughly listened to, and the venue made sure the day flowed effortlessly for everyone involved. Everything was timed perfectly, the florals (created by the venue!) were stunning, and the food was exquisite. Every detail was executed flawlessly, ensuring the couple and their guests could enjoy the day without a single hiccup. Now that we’ve experienced Crossed Keys Estate firsthand, we can’t wait to return! Our creativity was sparked by the newness of the venue, but we’re also excited to bring that knowledge back for future weddings. Erika and Jeremy’s wedding was a perfect day, and we look forward to more love stories at this beautiful estate.

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. The Arnold House encompasses everything we wanted for our wedding weekend - the charm and warmth of the Catskills, a low maintenance energy with high quality offerings, and a versatile venue where each space felt uniquely different (even if we had to use the same room twice...cue cold weather and rain!) to make each night feel like its own unique experience and special moment. Working with the Arnold House: From the start, they were so flexible on making sure that what was important to us worked. For example, we had preferences on specific food and wines and the AH team made it so easy to swap (and even source!) what we wanted. This team has an incredible ability to transform each space into a beautiful one, from the spreads they put out, the greenery they pick as decor, the furniture they arrange, and all the small touches in between that matter...we are so impressed. Additionally, they were helpful to make our guest experience the best possible - accommodating special requests and just generally being warm and inviting people. Lastly, the Arnold House itself is always continuing to add and improve their offerings. So we were met with nice surprises throughout our wedding planning process. For example we got to benefit from new chairs and dinner tables, something we no longer had to think about renting. The Space and Food: Wow! Our band and dance party in the greenhouse was pure magic. And our sit down dinner in the barn was beautiful and romantic. At first we were a bit concerned about having the dance party in a separate room from dinner - but it worked out really well and actually was nice to let those who wanted to dance, dance, and those who wanted to sit and chat be able to easily do that too. We didn’t get to eat much (even though we swore we wouldn’t be those people) but our guests all said the food was great and we can say for certain that we loved the burrata, oysters, trout drip, flank steak, and pumpkin pie!! Friday was intimate and inviting in Shandelee Hall/the Sun Room with the fire burning and the wine flowing. Wood fired pizzas were perfect. The Tavern: It’s own unique experience and space - unique from everywhere else on the property. Pool table and “divey-ish” vibes - a perfect setting for junk food and afterparty. Sunday brunch was simply gorgeous in the greenhouse. Food was simple, but good, and displayed beautifully. Overall: As you can tell from this being the first review, this place feels like a really well kept secret. Having now had our wedding here, we want to shout how great the Arnold House is from the rooftop. If you’re reading this right now, trust us… make the call and visit the Arnold House! Emily and the whole team were fantastic and made our weekend feel really special. The Arnold House will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you team Arnold House for the most wonderful wedding weekend.
