Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”

He was very professional and easy to work with from the beginning and we knew after our first conversion he'd be able to get the party going. It really made a difference that he took the time to learn about the flow of the wedding and our musical preferences. On the wedding day, he made sure everything was ready before our guests arrived by coming early to set things up. He even had backup music ready in case the musicians had to cancel due to inclement weather. He even mic'd our officiant for the ceremony. “We hired Philip from Good Musicians for our wedding and he was phenomenal! Philip played acoustic guitar for our ceremony/cocktail hour and then transitioned to a fantastic DJ for the reception! He did such a great job playing the song requests we had on the guitar, and he even learned a few that was very important for us to be played! We got SO many compliments from the guests of the wedding on how well he preformed- including family members that are singers and performers themselves! Then for the reception, he brought the PARTY as the DJ. He was able to really capture the vibe of what we were looking for as well as what the guests wanted to hear. Prior to the wedding, he was very attentive to what we were looking for in terms of song request and do not play lists. He also provided a very large song library of suggestions, as well as songs he knows how to play via Spotify- this made our lives SO much easier and was such a great resource! We also rented uplighting and cold fireworks for our wedding though Philip, which really elevated the party atmosphere. I highly recommend to hire Philip/good musicians for your wedding, he was such a pleasure to have! I can only imagine how talented his band is as well!!”

“We loved working with the Music Man DJ Service leading up to and for our wedding on 10/12/24. The inquiry call was so thorough and helpful to start our planning process. Booking, pricing, and the planning tools were very clear and up front. The planning portal was SO helpful for those feeling overwhelmed by all the wedding decisions. We worked with DJ Shawn C and we cannot say enough good things about him. Our venue had a power outage day of and we had to completely pivot and change the day. He had a positive, calm attitude and rolled with the punches. We had to move to a new location after the ceremony and he did it seamlessly and quickly. We also had to completely change timing and order of our reception, and again he was able to touch base with us quickly and made it happen flawlessly. His band Wild Faith played for my wedding reception just last weekend and they sounded great. When I first started talking with Leo about his availability he was prompt in his communication and also offered to learn new song material beyond his already extensive set list. His offer of learning special songs for us, attention to detail, timeliness in communication as well as showing up on time at our cold and rainy outdoor ceremony site were what he delivered. His value in comparison to other bands I spoke with was unsurpassed.
