I was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and a recent grad of the University of Iowa. My love for all things food doesn’t have a starting point, it has always been part of my life. I started The Bun Bar in hopes of sharing my love of baking with others. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy customers and bringing people together to enjoy a sweet treat!

I am an award winning photographer from the United States. My Irish husband, Scottish dog, and I are primarily based in Northern California and spend a portion of our year back home in Cork, Ireland. My expertise is capturing images on real film. I also shoot digital images.

P.Taufiq Photography is the creation of artist and award-winning photographer, Pervez Taufiq. Pervez has a love and passion for photography that has exponentially blossomed over the last 10 years. As the lead singer for Boston based band Living Syndication, he was used to being on the other side of the lens but was always fascinated with how and what made a picture or video speak to the viewer. I have always said I was a beach lover who was land locked in the middle of America. However, as you can see in my wedding galleries I had the pleasure of living and working close to the salty sea air in Annapolis, MD for several years before returning to the Mid West. I currently offer weddings and sessions in the following locations with no travel fees - Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, D.C. and Missouri. I am of course willing to travel to many more locations! I love to travel and will use any excuse to jump on an airplane! The sky is the limit and there are so many wonderful places I can't wait to explore.
