Ballyowen Golf Club was an absolute dream of a venue! The venue is located on one of the most beautiful photographic landscapes which is a bonus for photos. From the moment we toured Ballyowen, we knew it was the one. We had such a pleasant experience working with Julie, Silje, and our maitre d, Mike. Our guests are still raving about the venue and the food! Ballyowen will forever hold such a special place in our hearts and just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. Rachael and her team were absolutely amazing for our wedding whenever I had a question about the venue I knew I would get a very quick response from Rachael days leading up to the wedding. We kept our eye out on the forecast, hoping to have the ceremony outside in the garden however, with the rain we had to have it inside, but it was still absolutely perfect, they were able to get it, so that way you didn’t see everything underneath the tent during the ceremony and most of the time you didn’t even know they were there.

The Palace at Somerset Park was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Their staff was organized, friendly, and very knowledgeable, making the event flow seamlessly. The venue itself was clean, beautiful, and stunning - the ballrooms were spacious with gorgeous chandeliers that made for a romantic atmosphere. The food was also fantastic. The value was well worth what we paid, as they attended to every detail to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. Their attentive and friendly servers made sure our glasses were always full and that we were able to simply enjoy ourselves with our guests. I would highly recommend The Palace for any couple looking for a venue that contributes to an unforgettable wedding day.

Bridgewater Manor was an incredible venue for our wedding. Alyssa was amazing - she was very prompt in returning our emails and phone calls, and was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Alyssa was extremely attentive and made sure I was ready for the ceremony, even helping to put my husband's boutonniere on correctly. I was very nervous right before walking down the aisle, but Alyssa was there to calm my nerves. Adele was also fantastic all night long - he made sure we had food and drinks during cocktail hour and was available to assist us with anything we needed. I never had to hesitate to ask Adele for help. The entire Bridgewater Manor team contributed to making our wedding day so special and stress-free. We are so grateful for their incredible service and attention to detail.

Windows on the water was the best venue we worked with. The staff was incredible from start to finish. We got married on 10.8.23 and everything could not have gone more smoothly. We were catered to the day of our wedding. Cheryl & Harly we’re amazing to have taking care of us the day do our wedding and made sure every need was met and a drink was in our hand. Tracy was a gem to work with and eased all my anxiety and stress from the planning. They were transparent and honest. If you are looking for a venue by the beach look no further!

We got married at Edgewater in October 2023 and it was truly a dream. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and very reasonably priced. The staff is phenomenal! Christina and Sal were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and put our minds at ease. I can easily say they were the reason we were stress free. Emily and Alanna made sure we were their number one priority that day. They were constantly checking in on us, giving us whatever we needed. They knew what we needed/wanted before we even did. Our parents raved about the staff checking on them as well. Every little detail was perfect because of the staff. The food was so delicious, thanks to chef Jay. Every single one of our guests came up to us to rave about the beauty of the venue, the food, the staff, and the bartenders. The bartenders were awesome and quickly learned everyone’s order, having the drinks ready for them when they got to the bar. It was the best day of our lives and we couldn’t have picked a better venue with a better staff, because there simply isn’t one. Thank you Edgewater for being the perfect beach venue!!

Had our wedding on 5/20 and generally everything was good. Everyone raved about the food and how beautiful the venue is. And Shay was amazing. My issues mainly are with Charles, who in my opinion is phony, but maybe it’s just the experience I had? We met with Charles the Thursday before our wedding and went over everything. I left with a great feeling. I thought Charles was pretty animated but he seemed like he knew what he was doing. As part of our drop off - we had brought a memory candle to be used in our ceremony and separate champagne flutes to toast with: Charles said something along the lines of how nice it is to have the candle in the ceremony that normally it’s just on the credenza and asked permission to move the candle to the credenza in the hall after the ceremony, which I was pleased he even mentioned. Charles took the champagne flutes we brought out of the box/wrapping, inspected them, and then rewrapped them up. When walking into the venue for the drop off appointment, we saw a 60inch round in the entryway instead of a 6ft banquet table which I was so excited about because of the table cloth option for it - I asked Charles to switch this for us and he was like no problem consider it done. Fast forward to 5/20 - I am at the Waters Edge and I see the 6ft banquet table going to be put out. I quickly mentioned to Shay that I had requested the 60inch and they fixed, but annoying I had to catch this. Then I am lining up for my ceremony, my now husband already walked down the aisle, and I see the memorial candle - which is literally apart of our ceremony script - on the credenza. I obviously mentioned this and they fixed it but once again, very annoying. My biggest issue is related to our champagne flutes. After our first dance, we sit down at our table and see our champagne flutes aren’t there - I say something to Charles about this and he tells says “champagne flutes are being polished and will be right out”. Some time passed and Charles came by to our table and mentioned again the glasss are being polished and will be right out. Sounds great, until we are through our toasts and don’t have them. I didn’t see Charles anywhere and mentioned something to Shay. Who then comes back with an inventory sheet saying they were never brought. I obviously said that is not true and Charles held them in his hands in the lobby. After much time Shay comes back with the glasses and mentioned something showing she was frustrated with Charles. I’m pretty upset that I was being lied to for over an hour about the glasses. Don’t tell me something is being polished and is all good when something is lost. The worst part to me is that Charles never checked in/never come back to follow up on this and just pretended everything is okay. Charles never apologized or acknowledged this and the next and only other time I remember seeing him was for the cake cutting. A few other thing to note: There was a wedding earlier in the day on my date. And the valet refused to park my step dads car until they cleared this out. It was pouring rain and my step dad needed to come inside for portraits. I think the Waters Edge outsources this but make sure if there is any overlap this is considered in planning or mentioned. Communication with the Water’s Edge was also difficult. They are generally not accommodating so make sure you have anything you want in your contract.

Perona is one of the premier venues in NJ if not the country. With three different, gorgeous event spaces and the most conscientious, professional staff in the industry. Then there is the food, which is astounding and innovative. They have pizza ovens on site, they offer many local specialties including some made in-house. Of course, as an officiant, I WOULD mention the ceremony settings too; two of them are conservatory type spaces with retractible glass roofs, and the other is their rustic barn loft. Cleary, you can tell it's one of our favorite venues, and it will doubtlessly be yours as well.

Celebrate your next occasion on the Navesink! Our Main Dining Room has spectacular views of the Navesink River through the large, fully functioning glass garage doors. This room can accommodate roughly 50-60 guests. The Rooftop River Room is a fully enclosed rooftop that offers nearly 360-degree views of the Navesink River. Similar to the Main Dining Room it features two solid glass garage doors that open, in addition to the two sliding glass doors on the right hand wall. This room can accommodate roughly 30 guests. The Turtle Room is located on our second floor, and accommodates 20 guests. This room boasts an upscale relaxing environment coupled with the benefits of a private space. And last, we have our Starfish Room, this room allows roughly 30 guests. The Starfish and Turtle room are connected to each other with private restrooms and a small bar located at the center of the room.

I can't speak enough about how easy it was to work with everyone at 26 West. They let us tweak the menu for our rehearsal dinner, and with views of the Navesink from upstairs it was a great night. The service was spot on, and in a day and age where there is a shortage of staff, they made sure everything was taken care of. Anything that anyone else needed they were on top of.

We had a wonderful wedding at The Garrison in August in 2024- from the minute we saw this breathtaking venue, we knew it was a special place where we could see ourselves spending one of the most important days of our life. I immediately got in touch with Bridget, who from day one was super accessible, transparent, kind and willing to work with us. Bridget walked us through the entire planning process, from a tasting where we were made to feel super special by the wonderful Fatima (who ended up being our day of attendant and was AWESOME) to every last detail of our special day. The venue itself is gorgeous, the sunset over the mountains, the floor to ceiling windows, the beautifully maintained grounds - our guests were in AWE. The staff was wonderful, they made sure to treat our wedding party extra special and gave great service to our guests. My morning getting ready in the bridal suite was peaceful and easy and Bridget and Fatima kept things on task. We knew our day was in great hands with Bridget and the team at The Garrison and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding such a memorable and beautiful day.

We could not be more grateful to have had McLoone's Pierhouse as our wedding venue! My husband and I agree its the best wedding decision we made. Rachel, our wedding coordinator, is such a pro. She anticipated every possible issue before they arose. She has such a calming presence which was much needed. We were worried about weather for our wedding as we had originally planned to have a beach ceremony. It rained on our wedding, but it did not matter, because even inside the Atlantic Room, the view was breathtaking. McLoone's was so efficient in setting up for the ceremony and breaking down the chairs afterwards. Three weeks out now from our wedding and guests are saying McLoone's Pierhouse had the best food and service they've ever had at a wedding! All the staff were polite, professional and cheery, singing along to the songs. Nelson, our Maitre-d, was so fun and easy going. McLoone's exceeded every expectation we had. If you are looking to have a beach wedding, look no further. McLoone's Pierhouse is incredible in every way. Thank you McLoone's!!!!!

Nestled in the hills of the beautiful Hudson Highlands, this one-time colonial stagecoach stop is over 250 years old and has been lovingly restored in 2021 with all of the modern comforts. Meticulously landscaped grounds, a peaceful brook with overlook bridge and 5 unique, beautifully appointed guest rooms make this the perfect weekend wedding destination.

The Bird & Bottle Inn is truly a gem! It was recently restored and the rooms are filled with so much charm and character. The outdoor areas are stunning; there is a large lawn, an tented area, pergola and a lovely brook that runs along the property. It is a perfect venue for an outdoor wedding or other special event/milestone. The staff is also a pleasure to work with. We look forward to future visits and collaborations!
