“Tamory Hall was the venue we didn’t know would bring our dream day to life! My now husband is from Egypt and I am from Puerto Rico. One of the hardest things when planning our wedding was finding a very special location. Traveling and planning a wedding across the ocean was very intimidating so we got very discouraged at first when planning since we wanted to celebrate at a very special and unique location. Little did we know that just about 45 minutes away from us there was a venue that checked every box in our list. From unique, special, SURROUNDED BY TULIPS, wonderful vendors, and the one and only KAYLA; Tamory Hall was everything we needed. Our families traveled from very far away from breathtaking places to a place they will always cherish with their hearts. Everyone loved the wonderful town of Pella and its people along with the Tulips. Lastly, special shoutout to Kayla from bringing our idea to life and for making sure everything ran smoothly and wonderfully. She recommended vendors that provided what we needed and more!! The HarMac Event Space resides in the historic Harper & McIntire building in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. ​Completed in 1922, the building was originally a warehouse and shipping facility for Harper & McIntire's industrial hardware. The company also procured their own line of hand-crafted tools, coined "HarMac" - thus, our shared name. In 2015, the property was purchased and restored to reflect its original industrial character and charm. The HarMac has been meticulously designed to showcase it's industrial roots and stunning proportions. The flexibility of this distinctive venue allows guests to enjoy it year-round, for many different uses, including weddings, private events, corporate functions, and more.
