Welcome! I am a Kansas City Lifestyle, Portrait, and Wedding Photographer. Growing up I always had an eye for anything artistic and loved being able to share my vision of the world. I was first introduced to photography in my senior year of high school and immediately knew that is what I wanted my career to be. I continued the venture through college and graduated from UMKC with a degree in photography. A little about Noire Studios: Where does the name Noire Studios come from? I mixed my first name and last name (maiden) together - NO (from Noelle) and IRE (from Ireland). Creating a business from a few things that capture ME!

Stevie Nicole Photography

Hi there! Nice to meet you! I’m a photographer, full-time executive assistant at a non-profit organization, graphic designer, true crime weirdo, and karaoke expert in Kansas City, Missouri. Most importantly, I’m a mom to a sweet baby boy and two pups, and I’m in love with my best friend. Twelve years ago, in a tiny Kansas town called Yoder, I started my little photo business. Since then, I’ve been so lucky to be able to create many life-long friendships with tons of incredible people throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Stevie Nicole Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From the very beginning, they were extremely responsive and attentive, always getting back to us quickly and addressing any questions or concerns we had. Their photography style is truly unique and creative, capturing beautiful, one-of-a-kind shots that we'll cherish forever. On the day of the wedding, Stevie's calm and easygoing presence was so appreciated - they helped keep us relaxed and focused on enjoying the moment, all while discreetly capturing all the special memories. We are thrilled with the final photos and feel that Stevie Nicole Photography provided incredible value and quality for the investment. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photography experience.

Caitlyn Cloud Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Smithville, MO

I grew up in a divided home, literally. Splitting time between my parents after their divorce, often being in the middle of their fighting, made me grow into a very empathetic person. It’s become the biggest strength I take with me into wedding days. My documentary style stems from my ability to sense when special moments are about to happen. I am able to sense emotions that aren’t necessarily visible, sense when to come close and when to be a fly-on-the-wall, and sense what/who is important to you therefore important to photograph.

Awarded Best of Zola
Absolutely phenomenal and I cannot recommend them enough! Caitlyn took beautiful photos that we can't stop bragging about and was such a wonderful help on our wedding day. From the start, they were fantastic with communication and helped us put together a photography package that made sense for our wants/budget. They were very upfront about their commitment to inclusivity which made us confident in working with them. They sent lots of helpful information in the lead up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, they were so kind and professional, perfectly balancing posed shots and being a "fly on the wall" during the ceremony. They were phenomenal about managing tricky family issues, last-minute changes, and the weather. They helped us feel relaxed and confident in our photos despite us being camera-shy. The photos beautifully captured both the big moments from our ceremony and small details. We got a preview of our photos on the same day! The full album was delivered within a month! With one photographer for two hours, we got around 300 beautifully-edited photos. Overall, Caitlyn was phenomenal and I cannot recommend them enough.

I love capturing people in their very human moments. Images that really resonate with me are those which capture the essence of a person, a relationship, or just raw emotion. I search to photograph moments in which people reveal who they really are. This drive affects everything I do. Weddings are a breeding ground for these types of moments and emotions. Honest love, friendship, and joy. This is why I have chosen to specialize in this type of photography, because it speaks to me in a way than nothing else does.

The awesome thing about Meghan is the unique and tailored experience each client receives. No two are the same, while she's still able to deliver a consistent look and feel as seen in her portfolio.

My husband and I had a crazy experience with our wedding because of Covid but Serenity was so nice and easy to work with. We were able to take our mind off of at least one thing- the pictures. It was so amazing to get the best pictures we could ask for and all the while just being us and having fun. We danced, laughed, road in a carriage, and it was all so magical. I will always use SerenityStyles when it comes to photography and will always recommend her to friends! I’ve never had such a calm and comfortable experience like I did with Serenity.

  • Serves Smithville, MO

I'm Mollie, the owner & lead photographer at Paper Sun Photo. I’ve always loved photographing people, and after finishing my BFA in Photography I have worked with over 150 couples to beautifully document their wedding love stories. My style is creative and colorful, encompassing the big picture as well as the little details and joyful in-between moments that make weddings one of a kind. I am so grateful to be trusted with the responsibility of documenting my couples’ wedding days and absolutely committed to delivering photographs that capture the moment and will be treasured and adored.

We got married in October 2023. Mollie with Paper Sun did an incredible job with out engagement photo session and wedding day photos. She was very organized and communicative. Chill and enjoyable, not stressful. Photos are beautiful. Captured the day without making the whole experience about getting pictures. She scouted the lighting and locations ahead of time. Paper sun photos are balanced and capture the real essence of each moment. We highly recommend.

W The Studio

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,750
  • Serves Smithville, MO

Hi there, I am Shana Wooley and the one smiling back at you from behind the camera, helping you plan “all the things”, and standing by you on your big day. I am a native of the south (I grew up in Alabama) and I moved to Kansas City in 2012. I studied photography at Austin Peay University and started W the Studio in 2009 (which is the same year that my “tinybff” Luke was born). I met my very amazing husband, Josh, online (so no judgement here if you’ve found the love of your life on the www).

Working with W The Studio for our wedding photography was an absolute pleasure. Shana and her team were incredibly responsive, friendly, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process. They listened closely to our vision and delivered creative, beautiful portraits that perfectly captured the special moments of our day - even when we had to adapt plans due to unexpected rain. The turnaround time for getting our photos back was impressively fast, and we're thrilled with the end result. We highly recommend W The Studio to any couple looking for talented, professional wedding photographers who will go above and beyond to make your day perfect.

Matthew Mcneal Photo

5.0

  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Smithville, MO

Welcome! I'm Matthew! I'm a lifestyle photographer specializing in wedding photography and family photography. In life, there are planned moments, unplanned moments, tears, laughter, excitement, and surprise. Photography should capture the essence of those moments. It’s my pleasure to take part in the lives of my clients and to make these moments into timeless, tangible treasures.

Matt is so talented and amazing to work with. He's become our family photographer, capturing our pivotal life moments. We first met Matt when he photographed my husband's proposal. Over the years, he's captured such joy during our engagement photoshoot, our wedding day, maternity shoots, and our son's first birthday. He even helped us capture treasured family photos with our daughter after she was stillborn. They're one of the few mementos we have of her. Matt truly gave us a gift in providing those memories with the photoshoot. He is a very talented photographer who's always open to trying out poses I see on Pinterest, but he's also phenomenal at capturing truly beautiful candid moments. He always brings such positive energy to our shoots and shares in our excitement during the shoot itself and the planning process. On top of being incredibly talented and kind, he's very flexible, great at communicating, and gets the end product back to us really quickly. With Matt as your photographer, you'll not only wind up with beautiful photos, but you'll also end up with memories to last a lifetime from the shoot itself. I know we have!
