I grew up in a household where art and storytelling were tremendously valued, and large gatherings of family and friends were a regular affair. My dad handed me his old Canon AE-1 when I was 14, and I've been hooked on creating images that are more than just a snapshot ever since.

Tyler’s love of photography started in his mid-twenties while touring with the Billboard-charting indie-rock band, A Great Big Pile of Leaves. He began his professional photography career capturing behind-the-scenes images for national ad campaigns and found his strength in anticipating all of the emotional, hilarious, quirky and exciting candid moments. Tyler’s documentary photography style is inspired by photo journalism and his editing embodies the tones, contrast and color familiar to analog film. Here is a very short story how I got into the floral industry. In 2015 I got in an accident where I cracked my skull and had to have brain surgery/tbi. I was not able to work for months, my vision was sensitive, my taste was gone, my balance was off whack, I had temporary aphasia and thinking would exhaust me physically. With all this, I had to go to neuro rehab and 'retrain my brain'. Color therapy; sight exercises. Smells; memory builder. Art; improves brain function.
