I came to be a wedding photographer the long way around. My dad was an avid photographer and my fondest childhood memories are about taking long walks together. My dad, the camera in one hand and the dog leashes in the other teaching his daughter about life with dogs and being creative. With that old Pentax K1000, I took my first film photos and learned how to transfer what I saw through the lens into a frozen moment captured in a photo. From the start, I've always kept my focus on people. I love to capture someone laughing, or the way parents engage in the wondrous curiosity of their kids, or simply someone just looking back at me. Photography isn't just something I do, it's an extension of the way I see the world.
