Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. It all started with a beach wedding and a highlight film. That was my first wedding I filmed while I attended Penn State in 2002. During my college career, I got to film for THON, Penn State Athletics, and I was a Blue Band Videographer for 2 seasons. After I graduated, I worked for Penn State Sports Marketing. I had the privilege to create promotional videos for GOPSUSports GoPSF, Bryce Jordan Center, and Beaver Stadium's scoreboards. This experience covering events has prepared me for what I do now, running my digital video production business. I have been filming weddings for awesome couples since 2014!

Hello! My name is Alec and I run Small Batch Films! With a Master's Degree in Business Administration, I never thought I would find my love in wedding videography. I initially picked up a camera as a hobby, and then friends started asking me to do photography for them. Pretty soon I was doing photography for my friend's weddings, and I was hooked. It was such an exhilarating feeling to capture such an important day in the lives of two people in love! But where I really found my love was with the video camera.

Cinematography has given me the creative outlet to tell stories that I always wanted growing up and my couples have given me amazing stories to tell. My main philosophy when it comes to Wedding Filmmaking is that it is not only about creating a video that tells the story of the wedding day, but it’s also about creating a film that tells the story of the couple. My filming style has been described as documentarian and pleasantly discrete. I may stage a few shots from time to time and I will work with the photographer as they are posing you for specific shots, but my films are defined by the fleeting moments in the midst of a very busy day.

We specialize in joyful, authentic wedding videography, capturing couples as they really are. Our favorite moments to capture are honest and unplanned, so we like to step back and film what happens naturally. We are based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. We film most often in Philadelphia, Lancaster, Baltimore, New Jersey and Delaware. We are happy to travel to other locations both near and far.

Justin is the owner of the company and manages sales, customer service, and operations. He grew up in the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester and has lived in this area all his life. He attended college in Philadelphia and received his Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media in 2003. He then went on to complete his Masters in Business Administration at Penn State University in 2006. After forming Valley Creek Productions in 2005, Justin shot over 500 weddings, events, and corporate videography projects.
