1101 Southern Kitchen has been a dream of mine since high school. My cooking journey began with selling desserts during school holidays then advancing to selling full plates at my mom's jobs. I knew then culinary was my path. Years later, I finally followed my heart and quit my management job to completed culinary arts school. I started 1101 Southern Kitchen a few years ago offering corporate catering throughout the city. In 2019, I took leap and entered the world of wedding catering. Now I get to share my love for food and my artistic culinary creations with the world by creating amazing meals for brides, grooms, & their guest!

The concept of Oceanique began aside the cool, clear waters of Barbados in 1995. Darlene was already actively marketing Barbados as a destination and offering destination event services. Oceanique was the connection to this already exciting venture. Brittny “Bee” Price, head chef and owner, is a Houston native who decided to turn her passion into her business.
