Located on Main Street in Clayton, NC, Chefella's Event Space is perfect for engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and more for groups up to 25 people. With a bistro-like feel, this space includes a main event room, bar and lounge area, outdoor bistro tables, and catering room. Each rental includes the use of the entire space, tables, black linens, and chairs with customizable table settings, color schemes, and stress-free catering options available that can easily be built into your rental. An event attendant will be present for the entirety of your event at no extra charge.

Sugarneck is rumored to have gotten its name by the bootleggers traveling along the Cape Fear River as a code word for the place where they would pick up their moonshine. Sugarneck reaches back long before smartphones and social media, back to a time when the only way to send a message was by writing a letter and sending it in the mail. One of the earliest U.S. Post Offices in North Carolina still stands strong today. It was a community where people gathered, shared news and good times. Built in 1874, the renovated original Cabin structure serves as a unique visual reminder of those simpler times. The Cabin and the Post Office are on the National Register of Historic Places. The vast scenic views of the North Carolina countryside along with the grandness of our 150 year old Oak trees do not go unnoticed, and at night, the stars light up the sky.
