During that time, she upgraded her gear. Some 300+ weddings later & a decade later, the rest is history. She's a type 4, cat-obsessed, nostalgic, hype, and bubbly. You will often find her documenting with her famous cook husband Ganer or many of her talented associates.

My name is Jaslyn Elizabeth, I am a wife, mother, photographer and makeup artist. I have been doing photography since I was 15 but, it was always scenic photography. I got into taking photos for people in 2020 and have fallen in love! I am a super shy person when you first meet me so, I never knew I had what it took to take people's photos. Once I get behind that camera though, it all goes away. I absolutely love it, I love getting to go exploring with my clients and capturing their most precious memories. Being able to put your love for each other into a photo is my dream and I am lucky I get to do just that.

Photography is my absolute passion and it shines through my images when I capture them. I live for the authentic moments... the raw emotions of the day. The tears that fall during a first look, the last hug with your parents before you walk down the aisle, and the ear to ear smiles once you've said "I Do". Those are the moments I promise to capture! I blend candid and guided shots, giving you the freedom to move about the day to enjoy it, while never having the thought of “what should I be doing” running through your mind. I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

My name is Michelle, but my friends call me Meesh, so you can too! Most days you can find me editing pictures at Starbucks, working on home projects with my husband, and probably drinking absurd amounts of sparkling water. I've lived in Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Iowa, and currently live in Northern Illinois so you could basically say my heart belongs to the Midwest. I take weddings and sessions all around the Midwest and really all over the country! I’ve been told I’m the “mom” of the friend group and I LIVE to be over prepared!

My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. When “The Wedding Planner” came out in 2001, my fate was sealed

I like backpacking on the North Shore, dreaming up my next travel plans, and picking up a good book before I have time to finish the last one. I have two dogs that know all the commands but do whatever they want to on a regular basis, and they are my couch buddies for nights when I settle in with a glass of wine and an episode of Friends! I’m a foster parent and I’ve been riding that rollercoaster since December of 2020. My life is never boring and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
