I was looking for a natural look- I don’t wear much makeup usually and wanted to still feel like myself. My primary makeup artist had a family emergency right before the wedding but was able to get a replacement (also from Weemala) no problem. They communicated what I wanted and the experience was seamless. I didn’t have to stress at all! She also set me up with a second artist to make the morning even more smooth. All of my bridesmaids also got their makeup done. They had a variety of requests, with some being very done up and others going for more of a light look. She spent 3 hours with me during our trial, creating intricate braids and putting flowers all over my hair as I had asked (I was going for boho/fairytale vibes, it was a barn wedding after all!). I ended up changing my hairstyle a bit from the trial to only one side up, so that the other side could swoop down with more volume as I was used to.
