It wasn't until I got pregnant with my first child that I developed a strong passion for photography. When I'm not taking pictures I enjoy exercising, reading books, and hanging out with my family & friends

I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

I am originally from the small college town of Lexington, Kentucky, but before long my family moved to Toronto, Canada. Fast forward a handful of years, we moved to Nashville where I finished up elementary school and attended high school. I graduated from UTK in the spring of May 2020 with a BS in marketing and a collateral in entrepreneurship. I'm a wedding photojournalist based in Las Vegas, with a huge desire to see the world. I'm lucky enough to be engaged (so I know exactly what you’re going through!) to the love of my life, John. Together, we have a home full of animals, go to too many concerts (or at least, we DID before 'Rona), and cook amazing foods in a tiny kitchen. My name is Jaslyn Elizabeth, I am a wife, mother, photographer and makeup artist. I have been doing photography since I was 15 but, it was always scenic photography. I got into taking photos for people in 2020 and have fallen in love! I am a super shy person when you first meet me so, I never knew I had what it took to take people's photos. Once I get behind that camera though, it all goes away. I absolutely love it, I love getting to go exploring with my clients and capturing their most precious memories. We will get those photos, I promise, but we will do it efficiently so you can be present in your day, instead of spend your day in a photoshoot.
