The Oaks Lakeside is a turn-of-the-century Estate with a backdrop of the gorgeous Chippewa Lake. Our waterfront venue offers Restaurant and Event Facilities to couples seeking a unique, one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Couples can welcome up to 200 guests to their Celebration. The circular waterfront Pagoda hosts romantic ceremonies with the lake as the backdrop. Our private Event Facility has two floors, windows along the back of the room that overlooks the lake, and lush gardens along with a covered terrace that serves as the perfect location for your cocktail hour and mingling. Our Estate can host other events for couples, such as Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, and Birthday Parties.

Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. We include a private parking lot and have a huge municipal lot across the street that's available to guests. (If you know of Lakewood, you know parking is a hot commodity)

We are all-inclusive wedding venue. With our in-house catering we do not charge hall rental fee. You just pay for catering only. We offer 6 hours reception and additional hour for the ceremony. The barn was beautifully decorated (not to mention the amount of other decorations they already had on-site was a great way to save money), and the rolling hills made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and pictures (especially the photo-bombing alpacas). They were so incredibly kind and wonderful to work with throughout the process. They made time to answer all of our questions and were incredibly accommodating by allowing us to take tours and re-visit as we started planning for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having the venue for the entire weekend, which made setting up and enjoying our day that much easier. Everyone we've spoken to after the wedding have continued to say how beautiful the venue was and how it made for the absolute perfect wedding. I highly recommend Heartland to any bride looking for a beautiful wedding that's truly one-of-a-kind!

We are a nonprofit organization focused on preserving the farm and engaging the community to learn about and enjoy the farm. Our venue consists of 4.2 acre grounds and a large "Big Red" restored bank barn. We've installed a beautiful new floor, modern restrooms and a catering area. The farmhouse was built in 1831 and is available for the bridal party to use prior to the event. 100 gold Chiavari chairs with cushions and 15 5 foot round tables are include in the rental fee.
