​​As a mother of three children I have always loved baking cakes and cookies! However when my daughter was diagnosed at the age of 3 with an allergy to eggs and nuts, it definitely posed a new baking challenge for me. If I needed a special cake from a bakery, it was literally impossible to find one that was not made with eggs. So began my quest to find a delicious cake recipe that was made without eggs (or nuts). I began to experiment decorating cakes and discovered that it was something that I truly enjoyed.​ Now that my children are grown, creating beautiful cakes that bring joy to so many people is something I truly love doing.

I started my small business as a side job to earn extra income as I raised my children as a stay at home mom. Little did I know at that time how successful we would grow as a family and business owners. This business is so important to my family and I because just like we love watching our family grow, we love even more being apart of the start to another family’s growth. We enjoy doing all types of event cakes, but specialize in custom wedding cakes. We are fondant making, homemade cake baking, chocolate artists and so much more. Riverside Canning Co has been in business for 4 years now. Although my cake journey started on 2001. All of my fillings are homemade and award winning. I am certified thru Wilton in cake decorating and fondant work.
