Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. ​Built in 1905, the Connolly Shoe Factory was renovated in 2016 to become JX Venue, one of the largest event venues in Minnesota. JX Venue boasts 14,000 sq. feet of event space and has a capacity of up to 720 guests. The venue is perfect for large weddings, small celebrations and everything in between. Purposely ambiguous, the name “JX” is defined by the first class events that are hosted within the exposed brick walls. Clients have access to an unparalleled multimedia experience, optical illusion photo booth and a state of the art sound and light system. The Grand Banquet Hall is located just a couple blocks from the St. Croix River in historic downtown Stillwater, MN! Originally a part of the logging days that Stillwater was established for. Our ballroom features beautiful stained glass décor, space for up to 350 guests, a generous dance floor and a long stunning antique bar.

The Lowell Inn, located in the heart of historic downtown Stillwater, MN is just steps from unique shopping, attractions and the scenic St. Croix River. Established in 1927 and on the National Historic Register, the Lowell Inn offers 23 beautifully restored, private romantic guest rooms featuring today’s amenities, and 12 contemporary rooms in the new annex. The Lowell Inn also features a banquet hall as well as event rooms for smaller events.

A "one-stop-shop" stress-free experience with excellent service is what we offer. Our beautiful Ballroom holds up to 300 guests. We include a two-room suite for the Bride & Groom the night of the Reception, we have a Banquet Manager that runs the event from beginning to end, we set up and tear down all the decorations, all the linens, tables and chairs are included (we will add our chair covers for $2 each) and we include uplighting in the room. We also do a group block for your guests at a discounted rate. We set up a Host and/or Cash Bar at no extra cost. The Ceremony can be held here as well for a small fee. We will need 2 hours between the Ceremony and the Reception to flip the room. Our Pre-Function Area and Patio are ideal for a Cocktail Reception during that time or guests can come back when the Reception opens. Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse caters for our events. Our Chef is very flexible and we offer options for guests with dietary restrictions.

Oak Glen is a private and public golf course with a gorgeous wedding and event venue, located just 5 minutes from downtown Stillwater. Our packages include your ceremony and reception, on-site catering, tables, chiavari chairs, linens, flatware, charger plates, votives, and all day access to our getting ready suites! Oak Glen has two outdoor and one indoor ceremony locations as well as one beautiful reception space. The Willows ceremony site is located just off the first hole and features willow trees framing our beautiful fountain in the pond. The Prairie ceremony site is located closer to the clubhouse, making it more convenient for your guests to get to. All ceremonies include worry-free setup and tear down with white folding chairs, a hexagon shaped arch- that you can decorate, as well as back-up indoor ceremony site (depending on guest count.)

Conveniently located 40 miles from the Twin Cities, Abella provides a unique experience for your wedding day. Your rental includes the new 6,000 sq. foot French Country white barn, renovated historic barn, farmhouse bridal suite, grooms granary, courtyard patio, and outdoor ceremony spaces. Buildings are climate controlled so your guests will be comfortable no matter the weather. Multiple ceremony spaces, both indoor and outdoor, allow you to utilize the property to customize your day. Our outdoor ceremony space includes grand wood reveal doors and new white ceremony chairs. surrounded by willow trees and lush greenery.
